Worked ok but not as well as (or as thick as) Tart is Smart Black Cherry Concentrate. I combine this with Chanka Piedra for my kidney stones. Good for Gout too.

I have found this Vitacost concentrate both a joy for smoothies and for cooking. I absolutely adore the ever so bad for me Queen Ann cherries in dark chocolate, so I guess it's not terribly surprising that I'll occasionally make a smoothie with chocolate soy milk, greek yogurt, frozen dark cherries, Vitacost Back Cherry Concentrate and a bit of special dark chocolate with fresh mango and pineapple tossed in for a tropical twist. Fresh fruit and major antioxidents, who can argue with that? One of my other special treats is to use the black cherry concentrate with a low salt soy (adding a bit of organic honey for a bit of sweet) for a dusky/tangy/slightly sweet drizzle for Chinese veggies in a stirfry. Since it's drizzled on the veggies after cooking, the anti-oxidents are still intact, and the immune bolstering of the honey isn't harmed, either. I must admist to drinking the veggies juices and the sauce after finishing my veggies so as not to lose a tasty bit of my cooking labors. This concentrate is also a very good one for keeping it's freshness despite getting lost in the back of the fridge. I don't live alone, and being outnumbered, my things tend to get pushed to the back. I've lost bottles for months, and the only change I've found is they become thicker and more concentrated. It is very complementary with the Cranberry Juice Concentrate. This product is well worth the shipping.

I discovered this product last year as a sweetener for my tea and other things. It is wonderful and a healthy product to use in the place of equal and sweet n low. I was looking for a concentrate as an ingredient in a recovery drink formula. There was nothing but either reconstituted or concentrate with other ingredients to make sauces and gravies. This fit the bill and I haven't had a sore muscle since.
