Perfect tablet for my mom(UPDATED!)
UPDATE: (kinda late but here it is) We got it fixed and they replaced the old tablet with a new one since at the time it was still under warranty. This was back in September that we finally got it all fixed up and no problems since.- Just this morning my mom tried to turn on her tablet after she reset it(I helped her so we did do it correctly) And it started up but then shut itself off and we have not been able to get it to turn back on since then. I have contacted the company and I will be waiting to see if(and when) I get a response. Hopefully we can get a fix for it since my mom really likes this tablet and I would hate to have spent 73 dollars on something she can't use anymore. Will update again when a response comes, if not will still update but it won't be pretty. My mom isn't what you'd call a tech savvy person. She knows how to do basic things and that's it. This tablet was perfect for her, to read her books, listen to music, and play games. This tablet started right up out of the box, and has run smoothly and fast since. Only thing my mom wishes was that it had more space on it. But that is just her thinking ahead, she has barely scratched the storage, since she only has games that are smaller on hers(unlike mine where I am now trying to find a way to get more space(too many apps I don't want to get rid of)).

Get This one
okay, so first off i bought the black version of this, because it was a bit cheaper but when it came on like 10 percent battery and the battery goes fast when you have it on full brightness but i didn't know that. Anyways what happened was it died so i put it on the charger and waited and waited for like 3 hours but it still wouldn't turn on and Yes i did look at the instructions and it didn't say anything about it. so i waited till the morning since it was like 8:00 at night. And in the morning it still didn't work so i just put everything in the box and shipped it back. The sealer said that we could buy this one since it was only 10 bucks more, so i got this white one. And this time when i got it i didn't make the mistake of not charging it. And personally i love this version anyways; because it has everything and more the Ipad has but its better do don't buy the black one buy this one!

good for the price
Its actually a pretty decent tablet once rooted and overclocked. Only three stars because the touch input occasionally freaks out and thinks I am tapping when I am not. Twisting the tablet slightly usually fixes this but its incredibly annoying. I will return this one and get another that hopefully works right. To root: You should know Linux. Enable USB debugging and change the device's USB mode to MTP. Connect to a Linux machine that has the android SDK installed. Add manufacturing id (from lsusb) to ~/.android/adb_USB.INI then sudo adb shell. The shell starts as root. Nice! Remount /system read/write and adb push + chmod your custom su binary. If this is all Greek to you, Google is your friend.I wasn't able to find windows drivers to use adb on this device in windows. No one click root for you guys. Sorry.

Top ofthe line for the $$$$......
I initially purchased a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1", but my Girlfriend's Grand-daughter is unable to not break things! LOL Like her cell phone, mp3 players, the head phones that she uses for these things. The other tablet she had, she broke some how! But I wanted to get her a "good" one thinking maybe she would take better care of it; especially since she is now 20yrs old & getting her own apartment. Well, glad I found out before I opened the box on the Galaxy Tab. It went back & I purchased this one.Actually, this is a wise purchase!! It has great features for the price!! This may not be "top of the line", but coming from some one like me who builds his own computer, this is a great tablet for the money!! I may purchase a larger screen for myself!! My fingers are bigger!

Worth the Price
I didn't expect much from this little tablet because of the price. I was going out of town and needed something larger than my smart phone to check on emails and surf the net as well as read a few books and I was pleasantly surprised with this. The resolution is a little hard on the eyes, not very clear when it comes to sights (like Pinterest) and there were absolutely no instructions so I had to figure out how to work things and what the features of the tablet were, but once I did things were good. It's a little cheap, but it's worth the price.

Durable
I got this to replace a tablet that my son broke. It seem to run ok and it is pretty tough - he has dropped it several times and has not hurt it. The screen is not very clear - it is fine for him but it would bother me if I had to use it on a regular basis - and there is not enough storage on it. I have added a SD card but that is only good for storing music or pictures, you cannot install apps on the SD card. He can only install 3 or 4 games on it at a time. When he wants a different game he has to remove something first.

OK, expected better quality control.
Cons: Bubbles in screen??, Laggy compared to Galaxy tab 3 (think smartphones of 2011), Poor screen resolution/colors/and image quality.Pros: Lots of inputs, cheap, well packaged, and lightweight.Comapison: I would stake a 1st Gen Kindle fire against this, and the fire would win due to the image quality. The Galaxy tabs are leagues better, and only $50-60 more.Outcome: Returned back to Amazon due to poor QA. Lowered my expectations of going with no-name brands on Amazon.Next time, I may go for a faster processed and better display.
