Best Japanese saw I have purchased
This saw blades work like a rip saw but the cuts are smooth.

Great to keep in tool bag without ripping it up.
This is a nice saw that cuts well and doesn't cut your hand because you keep it folded up. It stays in my toolbag and I'm not worried about ripping up the bag either. It's not too heavy and has a solid handle so it's easy to use.

Very compact. Has flexible blade. Used for light tree branch trimming

Outstanding value!
I'm a full-time contractor and this is one of the best saws I've come across for all-purpose use. Well made. Blade is thick enough and of sufficient quality that if it binds accidentally it will spring back instead of bend. Sharp! Bites quickly. Folded, it sits well in my tool belt.NOT INTENDED FOR dovetail/tenon work. Too coarse for that. Also, the kerf is flared just enough that it will score surrounding material when flush-cutting. For general carpentry though, at this pricepoint it's an excellent saw.

Not German nor Japanese
That it folds into itself is the best feature. The quality of the blade is comparable to the ones you can buy in big buck stores. Maybe i did not read the description thoroughly but i was certainly disappointed when i realized that the product was not made in Japan. It will be perfect to toss it in your tool bag and do general cross and flush cutting tasks.

Worked great for me
I bought this saw to cut wood studs pultruding out of a brick wall. I needed to cut them flush to the brick. This saw worked perfectly for this.

Storable pull saw
Two features of this saw work very well together:First, set-up and put-away are quick and very easy. To begin using this saw just pull the flexible steel blade away from the handle and rotate it into one of 3 locking positions. There is an orange colored thumb release on the handle to allow the blade to be released to change position or stow the blade back in the handle. Second, when stored the teeth are protected in the handle. Set-up and stowage take just a couple seconds! Most of the pull saws take a minute or more to set or stow. Then either you have to keep track of blade covers or store so the teeth don’t get damaged. Not so with this handy saw. I will probably just fold the blade safely away and keep it in my portable toolbox. The saw cuts a kerf about 1/16” wide. This is nearly twice as wide as the other Japanese pull saw I own. Although the teeth are closely spaced like a cross cut saw, for small projects it seemed to work fine as a rip saw. The tool is easy to use either with one or two hands. Set-up and stowage can also be easily accomplished with one hand. I like its convenience! There’s even a hole near the end of the handle to hang it up when not in use.

Es muy delgada la hoja y se dobla
Tiene buen corte y me gusta que se guarda, pero en cuanto la abrí note que no es para trabajo rudo ni de precisión. Se dobla y enchueca fácilmente.
