I love this! It is so much easier than a multimeter if you don't need all the bells and whistles. You just plug it in and it tells you what's going on with your outlet! It's very small as you can see, it fits in the palm of my hand and I am a very petite woman. I like that it is so small because I can take it with me because I use it for my earthing mat to make sure that the outlet is properly grounded. Since I used the grounding mat in other places besides my home. I can just stick this in the Box of the groundy map and take it with me to ensure that wherever I go. Perfect and easy to use and it tells what the issue is if an outlet is not wired correctly. Using this is much cheaper than hiring an electrician and is validates my work was done properly.

For the price, you get a full checkup of your A/C outlets. You will know if you have true ground and if the polarity is correct. Very useful.

EZ to interpet test

I bought this ground tester to test outlets for my grounding mat to make sure my outlet was grounded properly. It was so easy to use that I went around the house and checked all the outlets. I did find out that our bathroom outlet is not grounded on one side so now the hubby has to fix it. So glad I got it good value for the money.
