Great for homeschoolers
I like to get curriculum set months in advance so everything is ready and I don't have to put thought in to it every day. I use some complete curriculum but also make up a lot of my own. This is a great record keeper with plenty of space for me. I don't use the grading forms or anything like that yet but I decided that this is the perfect record book for me and am starting to use my second one for our second year with this particular book (first was for Kindergarten after using a few others for preschool and not being happy). I highly recommend it for teachers and homeschooling teachers/parents.

Great!
I love the layout of this planner. It works perfectly for my needs. The days of the week run horizontally. There are 7 sections running vertically.

Good planner
I bought this planner because it was one that my co-teacher was using. I find it very useful for planning my days, since I teach multiple subjects to multiple grades. The planning pages are laid out well and provide ample room for entries. My only complaint is the cover. I find it silly and unnecessary. I think the cover would do better without the juvenile drawings. There are male teachers.

Great for teachers needing a plan book and class recording keeping area
I purchased the book to use in our home school. The book has a section in the front for record keeping and in the back for lesson plans. I really wish the record keeping would have been in the back. Instead, you have to turn through the whole plan book to get to the lesson plans. The pages of the book are nice and thick and the binding is very strong. I have used it for about 2 months and have had no issues so far with any tearing pages or loose binding. One problem is that because of the spiral binding the grid of the record keeping area does not match up all the way across. It actually is off by one whole line on the right side of the page. If I were using it for a class of students, it might pose a problem with keeping up with the lines all the way across. The subject planning area is nice. I had a little bit of trouble getting used to the subjects running down the side of the page instead of across the top. However, I am ok with it now. It does allow for more subject divisions than my previous plan book that had the subjects across the top. There is also an extra area at the right side of the plan book on each set of pages that is just lines for notes. While I have not used these as of yet, I know that they could come in handy with noting what is upcoming or extra curricular activities, etc.I will probably not purchase this book again because the record keeping area seems like such a waste for me. However, as a former elementary teacher, I think this plan book would be a great choice for the classroom. It is nice to have the planning and the records in the same book.

The best all-in-one plan/grade book
I love this plan book so much that I have now ordered it for at least 10 years in a row. (25 year veteran). I like how the columns for the days are vertical. Space is large enough to write it comfortably.

This style has the days of the week on the top of the pages and the subject boxes going down the side. The front portion of the book has the usual name/grades grids. The paper is a bit thicker and the book is durable. This format works well for me and I have used this particular style/type for 4 school years.

Great lesson and record book for any teacher, including homeschool!
This was exactly what I was looking for. I homeschool and love these books to record lessons and grades. The lines on the sides where you write the daily lessons are nice. There's plenty of room for several students, but just fine for my one and only student!

A well planned gradebook
This is a well planed grade book. I like the fact that has space for both lesson plans and grades. Only one book to keep track of. It does have the days in vertical columns vs. the horizontal columns that a lot of grade books have. The only thing I wish it had was an extra space each day to write special events, attendance, birthdays, etc. I'm having to write this stuff in the margins.
