Work Good....Dryer Than Others
There are several brands of these kind of pre moistened wipes for sale on Amazon. All of them are pretty much the same in that they are little moist towelettes that resemble those that restaurants give out for cleaning your hands after a meal. Except these all have an alcohol base that dampens the glasses lens throughly, but very quickly evaporates so there is no drying or real rubbing involved. These Pdi wipes work very well in getting lenses exceptionally clear with the alcohol formula. Especially plastic lenses that tend to take a lot of rubbing with cloths and such that only end up scratching them over time. The only thing I noticed about this brand is that the towelettes are not anywhere near as wet or treated as the more expensive Zeiss wipes also available on Amazon. I have owned a box of each now and I have to say as good as these are, the Zeiss wipes are better. These are so lightly treated that you have to work pretty fast on your glasses if they are exceptionally dirty, for the towelettes start to dry as soon as they are removed from the wrapper. You can forget trying to do multiple glasses with one towelette, unless you are satisfied with one or two wipes per lens. They just dry up too quickly. The Zeiss wipes may seem a little too wet when first opening but they dry very quickly as well, as does the residue of alcohol they leave behind on your glasses. But being so damp you can throughly clean a very dirty pair of glasses, and or wipe a couple of more pairs before it dries up. As good and effective as these are, I prefer the Zeiss wipes. They are a little more expensive but in my opinion worth it. If price is a real issue with these wipes you will be satisfied with the Pdi brand for sure for they work fine. But if you like a wipe that is more heavily dampened and thus allows you extra time for multiple uses, I suggest you follow the link to the Zeiss wipes and at least read the reviews there for comparison... : ) Zeiss Pre-Moistened Lens Cloths Wipes 200c

Dirty package
Opened my bag and the entire box was ripped open with dirt in my package. The wipes look on but the package was gross.

I like these best so far
I have tried these and the Bosch and Lomb wipes (which I also bought from Amazon)The PDI wipes were not available in the size box I wanted when I needed to restock so I thought I would try the B&L version which had even better reviews than the PDI brand at the time. Here is my experience with the 2 wipes:The B&L tissues are wetter than the PDI, that in itself is not good or bad but I can see some people may have a preference. One of the advantages to me was I could use the same tissue on more than one pair of glasses or screens. The B&L wipes had a stronger alcohol type smell then the PDI wipes. The packets were the same size but the B&L packets were a little easier to get into. The biggest difference was that the B&L tissues didn't always do a good job of cleaning my glasses. They sometimes leave a haze that did not clear when they dried. The PDI tissues worked better at cleaning my glasses consistently.I don't know if there is a lot of variation between different batches of the same product, I only have a few hundred wipes to base my experience on but the next time I will buy the PDI brand.

Just what you need to keep your eye glasses clean
I had laser eye surgery over 12 years ago and was able to say "goodbye" to my eyeglasses. However, as I've aged, my vision has slowly degraded and I've recently had to get eyeglasses to safely drive. But as I don't need to wear them for everything, I frequently take them off, and I usually end up with dirty lenses in short order. I had ordered another brand of eye glass cleaner, and while they cleaned OK, they were overly wet. So I decided to give these cleaning wipes a try.Pros:- They clean well and do an excellent job of getting rid of fingerprint grease and other dirt/grime.- They're inexpensive. Realize that prices change all of the time, but at the moment of this review, they cost less than 7 cents per wipe delivered right to your door.- Pre-moistened wipes are much more convenient and less bulky than carrying around a cleaning spray, as they provide both the cleaning solution and the cleaning material, both in one packet. Slip a couple in your wallet or purse, and you're good to go.Con:- None. They're not too wet and they're not too dry (they lean closer to being too dry, but they work fine).Overall, I love these wipes. They work and they're inexpensive. If you wear eye glasses, use these to let others see the sparkle in your eyes.

EXCELLENT!
I have been wearing glasses since the second grade--that's (ugh!) over 50 years. I have ruined so many lenses by brushing them against my shirt, or even soft items like my linen hanky or toilet tissue...I'm always surprised by the many things that I THINK are soft enough, but aren't.These are the real deal, and I'm proud to say that my one-year anniversary has passed with my current lenses, and there is not a scratch on them. I owe that distinction to these soft, lubricated wipes. They're extremely pliant and soft (when you first take them out), and will last through two sets of glasses at least (I often clean my wife's glasses at the same time as mine on the same cloth). We have no problem with the PDI wipes in that respect. We ordered the large box and are still using them. For us, when it comes to the replacement costs for lenses, you couldn't find a better bargain anywhere.
