YARDGARD308357A Fence, Height-36 Inches x Length-50 Ft, Color - Green

This fencing is NOT 14 gauge. No way, no how. Maybe 18 or 20 gauge at the most. Even the label says 14 gauge. But NO WAY. It also arrived very damaged. Bent wires. Broken wires. Looks like it was used in World War II. The shipping box was not damaged, so it was in this condition before shipment. What the heck, Amazon? Luckily, I do not need the entire 50 feet so I will keep. I am using it around the bottom of my back porch to keep my small dogs out. I will be using 2 x 6 boards across the bottom and the top to help with the strength problem (in case someone leans against it). If you need something with some strength or you need the entire 50 feet, forget it. This fencing will not last more than a couple of years, at the most. 😣

I needed to keep some cats from hiding out in my lush garden and leaping out at the ground-feeding birds around the feeder just 4 feet away. Different parts of the yard demanded other solutions but this fence turns out to be more-than-ideal for this particular area. The dense foliage bunched up against one side slows cats down as they try to leap out of the garden, giving the birds plenty of time to escape. As a result, the cats have dwindled and I haven't seen a single cat catch a bird since putting this fence up. (Warning, 36" isn't nearly enough without this bunched foliage on one side)As an unexpected side-benefit, the fence creates a nice vertical interface between dense garden and open air, with lots of great perches on the fence itself. Birds of all sizes (but especially small finches and wrens) love to hang out there while searching my plants for yummy seeds and bugs. At first I was worried about their being so close to the cats lurking in the garden, but safety is only one hop away. As a result, most of the cats have given up and gone someplace else where it's easier to catch food.

This is really cheap wire. The wire itself is similar thickness to poultry netting so animals will chew through. Came in a giant box but no paper inside so wire bounced around and was really bent and smashed. Probably go to home depot or something like that but avoid this. For the record, I hate home depot, but anything would be better than this wire.

In this 3-star review for the product, the wires easily fall apart other than that it's ok. By the way, I want to rate this seller 1-star for the product description inaccurate. I bought a used but acceptable 36 inches x 50fts long, I didn't check the length until I do my project, and by the time I do I have to cut it into 3 even parts 36in x 12 ft long, and I thought it should have about 14 feet left, but it has non left, so. I paid for 36inches x 50 ft long but get 36in x 36 ft long instead.

We ordered 3 foot fence but actually this fence is four feet tall. The labeling was messed up by the people who made the fence.
