We hadn't had our chimney cleaned in a while so we called around to get an appointment for a chimney sweep. No such luck because we have snow on the roof (safety hazard). We decided to clean it from the bottom up ourselves and saw this product.The cleaning was easy with 2 people and a vacuum. The head looks like an orange spider with several plastic/nylon flexible sticks attached to a sphere - think weed wacker with a thicker line. The extensions attach easily to a drill and each other so you can go the full 26+ feet length. We were amazed at how much soot and creosote it took off. All the stuff fell down the pipe and into our woodstove.Best maintenance money we've spent.

Worked great for 15' stove pipe with a 45 degree bend in it. It is flexible enough to feed it up 90 degrees through the draft regulator on an old wood stove. Took off one star for not coming with the adapter to connect it to the drill. Had to improvise. It will NOT fit in a half inch chuck so make sure you get the adapter or have some Mcgyver skills.

This is a wonder tool that, if you have a chimney you need one. Quality at its best. Easy to use and even goes past the damper with ease all the way to the cap. I have a wood stove in my living room that I use to heat my home. It took me maybe 20 minutes to use this produce and clean up after. It removed all the suit with minimal effort and mess. I would suggest you purchase this product. No more going on the roof.!!!!!!

Went together okay made sure all the sections were together right with the pen all the way out but when bringing it down from the chimney it came apart and got stuck up in the chimney a screw mechanism would be better then just one pin I checked it when we finally got it down from the chimney and that pin was weak.

used this last heating season, and used it just prior to this heating season. super easy way to clean a chimney without calling a professional to do the job. Our wood burning stove started heating the house in October with a continuous fire going.Use this product every 2 months to clean the chimney of soot it an does excellent job

The first time we used this, a plastic pRt if the orange head tire off and is now lodged in our chimney flue. Amazon was kind enough to facilitate a replacement head. Also during the first use, the long poles became disconnected in our pipes and it took us longer to fish them out then it did to clean the pipes.We recently used it again and used painters tape to tape the seams if the poles to avoid them disconnecting. However this was useless and the poles came apart several times. This is more frustrating than anything.
