Works well
This butyl putty tape was easy to use. The diameter is about the size of an average tootsie roll. It has the consistency of one too. I used it to make a seal around a 4" pvc pipe for a roof vent. The seal was 100% reliable. I run a water hose on the roof and I didn't have any leaks inside. I can't saw how long before the material starts to deteriorate. It was really pliable and easy to use with no mess.

I used this to reseal the inner door lining, and it was perfect in this application!

Didn't stick very well
Stuck to everything but what I wanted it too. Tape arrived with 1/4 squished and unusable. Cleaned surfaces before trying to use for rv window install. Some of it wouldn't stick to rv but stuck excellent to itself. Got frustrated and threw it away.
