Best filters especially for ammonia levels

Works very well but it takes a while to arrive. The sponge can be reused by washing it when cleaning the filter.

I bought a mini for these refills cause I only have a 5 gallon tank and there never available since I bought the filter, I have to buy the bigger ones and cut the sponge and cram the charcoal in it. More expensive. Waste of money.

These are just replacement filters

Not the correct size for what I need it for but still a very good deal as I can cut the sponge and open the carbon filters to put in a different case.

Ordered this filter after reading the reviews. At the same time I also ordered the replacement cartridges. Filter came on time, works great. Refill cartridges not so .... its been over 1 month & there is NO sign of them coming in or being delivered. Now what?? Looks like I will have to buy another filter!! Shame on you Amazon for not having replacement cartridges. Do not waste your money like I did!

These are very thorough filters, easy to clean and change.
