If only every band dropped an album this good after A 5 year hiatus
This album is amazing! Don't start listening to this though expecting the rebellious youth anthems that Dude Ranch or Enema of The State gave us. Neighbourhoods is a lot more like Blink-182s self titled album dealing with slightly darker and more mature topics. Now I'm going to say I am a little Bias towards Blink because I am a long time fan and think everything they touch turns to gold. But when this album came out I was very hesitant to give it a chance due to the hiatus the band had been on and the reported bad terms the band ended on. But I couldn't have been more wrong. They have delivered another instant classic with Neighbourhoods. The content may have grown up but they still give you the catchy pop-punk tunes that have given them the legacy they have made today. I give the album 4 stars only because there is a couple to tracks that are still worth listening to multiple times but on repeated listenings you might skip them to get to the albums other gems. What gives it the 5 star rating i have given it is the Vinyl its self. The vinyl is amazing and easily one of the best in my collection the gate fold folds out showing all three band members faces a very beautiful glossy album giving you that tangible feeling that reminds you why vinyl still wins. The 180gm record is very cleanly pressed and sounds amazing but to seal the deal with this album and to put it up into my top vinyls is the white pressing of the vinyl which suites the theme of the albums artwork and looks amazing. Any fan of Blink-182s self titled album is gonna find a new love in this album.

Great Album Great Songs
The wait was well worth it, since 8 years ago to I hear new material from this excellent band one of my favorites. i was sixteen years when i was listening the latest album, twenty-four years now I have and i can see how much they have changed, their songs, but creativity is still apparent in each of the members of the band, Mark, Tom and Travis ... Excellent musicians. Thank you very much for this great album, I've been hearing about 7 times since i got it and I am not tired to listening....I leave my favorite songs:After MidnightSnake CharmerHeart's All Gone (interlude)Heart's All GoneWishing WellKaleidoscopeLove is DangerousGreetings from Ecuador

Blink is back!!!
8 years of anticipating the reunion of one of the staples of the pop punk movement, Mark, Tom & Travis proudly give us their 7th studio release Neighborhoods. As a Blink fan, I always wondered why they called it quits in 2003. Their self titled album was debatably their best album due the mature nature and sound. What was thrown out of left field was the bands love of the 80s new wave band The Cure and having Robert Smith sing on a track. Now, they are back again and I am glad to know that they capitalized on what they left us before their split. The songs are very mature and not so in your face. They are very much toned down with the classic Blink 182 guitar still there so you know it's a Blink record. Vocally there is a great deal of positive change. Tom no longer sounds like a screaming rat getting tortured in a cage. In fact, he has learned to work better with Mark harmonizing to a degree on some of the tracks. If their is anything that they need to work on, they have a little trouble with endinig songs, because a few seemed to just go on longer than they should have. There is nothing wrong with a band that in fact started out as a bunch of misfit teenagers. Like Green Day getting older in the world of punk makes you wiser and I am also glad that they didn't make their albums political as a good portion of punk bands have done in the past. Their music is still about life, friendship and the yearning to be relevant and Blink 182 has shown with their reunion just how relevant they are.I am hoping that there will be more from Blink 182 in the coming years, because I was happy where they left us in 2003 and I am happy with where they are heading in 2011.Also, make sure you purchase the deluxe edition so you get the three bonus tracks. 'If She Falls' is one of the best songs on this album.

Blink 182! Back with a bang
This really is one of their best albums in my honest opinion, they really have changed, and i personally think its for the better. You can't compare this album to any of their previous albums, its very different, much more mature, but very good. They have mixed in a few punk-style songs and a few with an AvA style to them, but i really think Mark, Tom, and Travis really are 5 times better when they're together, everything falls right into place. I really recommend this album. If you have listened to blink in the past and thought they were too "childish" you really need to try them again, buy this album!! full 5/5

Great Album
This is really one of their best albums yet. Ive been a blink fan for a long time and initially i was upset with this album because i was kind of hoping they would bring some of their old style into this album but they took a new direction. Once i actually took the time to really listen to it i realized how amazing all the songs are and all it took was some time for it to grow on me. Pretty much every song on here is good...there are no fillers in here. If you love blink you need to buy this album

Can't go wrong with buying this if you like blink
The songs sounded a bit odd for blink-182 the first time I heard all of them, but the album has grown on me since I received it today. The songs encompass all aspects of the blink-182 members, from Tom's AVA voice in many of the tracks to the duo of Mark and Travis working their magic left from +44. I definitely thought it was worth paying for fast shipping and a couple of dollars more for the deluxe edition. The only advice I give is this: If you are a massive fan of exclusively the pre-2005 blink-182, expect music similar to the pre-2005 blink-182, or like blink but hate AVA and/or +44, I would say keep your money and continue listening to Enema of the State because this album has a completely different sound than the old blink-182. For all other potential buyers, you can't go wrong with this album.
