ProFormX-Bike Duo Exercise Bike

I like the options this bike have. It folds up very nice and tucked away in the side of our living room. Then the two positions so you can ride the bike how you want to ride it is also very good. But there are a couple things I'd want to see changed.Putting it together was relatively easy. Took me a total of 45 mins while glancing back and forth between construction and football, I have moderate experience building things too from desks to chairs, tables to equipment. I would say this is on the easier side of assembling.I know the reason for this bike is stashing it away and portability, but the only option for the bike is D batteries. You can't plug it in and without the batteries, the bike is basically useless. You can't adjust resistance and it's just a free pedal since there's nothing telling it to add strength. The other part, not a huge deal since I have one a watch with this, but there's no heart rate monitor. Everything in this price category, perhaps everything below it in this price category as well has a heart rate monitor. There are not monitors on either set of bars and I just found that interesting because that's the main point of the bike, elevate your heart rate and burn some calories.The bike is good, however, where it allows pauses in between riding. So if you get up for a minute or two to go grab a water or something, it will pause the workout and pick right back up where you left off since it was not moving. Also good if you need a small break to recover, then continue again. Also, after the period stops and it realizes you're not coming back, it auto shuts off and with release the resistance as not to strain the mechanism as it just sits there.I told my mom to buy one, she never spends money on anything, but she bought one of these.

I got this for my mom, whos 5 ft tall. The bike fits her perfect. I am 5'7 and also works great. Very quiet. It has a feature to sync the bike over bluetooth to fitness devices to track your heart rate and other things. Very sturdy and well built.. Hopefully it will last a long timeNOTE this unit requires 4 D batteries to operate the digital unit and resistance. Dont forget to stock upUPDATEdownloaded the pro form app, it found the bike over Bluetooth. I was excited that now the app was working (when I first got the bike, the app didn't even recognize the bike). I assume that now I could track my bike sessions and such. What a disappointment! The app is just an attempt to get you to sign up for a fitness program and does not give you an option to just use it a fitness tracker. You either sign up and pay or you need to exit.Taking 1 star away for a shameless money grab from this company. At least when you connect ove BT, your bike computer will get updated to the latest version which is always good

Fairly easy to set up. There was residual metal material in the casing to move the seat from upright to recumbent.My husband was able to fix this.DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE IFIT PROGRAM! It is not necessary to make the console work and you are unable to cancel the account if you don't contact them BEFORE 30 days! And iFit's customer service it TERRIBLE!

The media could not be loaded.  This bike is heavy duty silent easy to set up. It also has Bluetooth so you could connected to iFit app if you don’t want to use batteries but you can purchase a 9 V DC adapter which is super convenient if u like me who don’t like to keep buying batteries every time lol I had work out Bikes in the past and they broke or was noisy this is smooth and perfect holds up to 250 pounds.

This bike worked ok for one day.. on day two it started making a noise and got progressively worse as time went on.. I still use it but it’s reallllllly loud now.. one of the foot petals back d out and stripped out the threads on the petal.. it was a pain in the butt to change.. if you’re lucky enough to get one that doesn’t have problems, I’d imagine you might be satisfied with this product.. the first day I was excited, but now it’s a big pain in the butt and I have to get a new stationary bike..

I have been using the ProForm X-Bike for a few months now. It is the first exercise equipment I have loved. I use it in thee lower position due to a knee injury and love it's ease of use, but definitely see strengthening in my muscles with better muscle tone. I would recommend to everyone. It is very comfortable to use and the resistance can be changed to whatever level you are comfortable with.

I think it is great but I am 75 and knees ache afterwards when using as upright-even when put at lowest intensity and for not too long--I have spoken to others my age and same problem with exercise bikes-I also had same problem with ellipticals -some attribute to arthritis(however,I have never had other arthritis symptoms)-I will next try recumbent position -hope it will be usable in that position-otherwise I will stick to just my proform treadmill-(purchased at qvc)

The bike was a pretty good purchase for its price for the period it worked (about 3 months). The seller and the warranty holder do not respond to issues with delivery (which was delayed numerous times), assembly or issues with the product. It is a nightmare to deal with them.The displays and the settings stopped working within a few months of purchase and again zero response from the parties involved. Not a good quality product or seller.
