I am a serious cook with a finicky palate, and I am delighted to report that these cashews are the best I've ever had. Things I love: They are fresh and only lightly salted. Unlike most flavored nuts, these do not have sugar added. Freed from the distraction of heavy salt or cloying sugar, one enjoys the full flavor profile of the herbs -- a hint of pesto, never overwhelming, so these delightful nuts remain the star of the show. The spice version is equally enjoyable, just enough heat to be interesting. I also love that this company benefits so many people and does some good in the world. I will definitely return for more -- it's a new addiction. On another note, I am diabetic, and there are few "treats" that I can enjoy. The absence of sugar in these nuts allows me to enjoy them on a low carb diet.

I ordered the lightly salted version after seeing them on a home shopping show and thought they looked amazing. I was so excited I even put them on my subscribe and save. I got the 2 packs and they were horrible! They tasted rancid and I couldn't figure out why everybody else gave them great reviews. I saw them last week in my local supermarket and decided to buy a bag. They were as everyone else says the best cashews ever! I think the problem was the distribution center where they were held at Amazon. So my bottom line is I will buy them locally because they're fantastic but no longer from Amazon.

First off these cashews are delicious! Probably the best I've had. More importantly I have a son who is allergic to peanuts but can have other nuts. It's been impossible for me to find healthy "nut" snacks, such as cashews, that are also peanut free. I'm so happy this company makes them.

Lifelong severe peanut allergy (adult now). I've never been able to eat cashews since I was a kid (before they mandated labelling). When I found these I was skeptical but read the reviews. I've eaten 2 bags now without any problems at all. They taste amazing. I only ordered the lightly salted variety and did not try other flavors but I'm not interested in other flavors. These are delicious. My wife can finally make chex mix with cashews again (we will be using these). I will definitely order again!

The product tastes great! It surpassed my expectations which were high because I grew up in Southern Africa and remember how tasty the Mozambique cashews used to be. Sunshine Nut company has a mission to help the subsistence level farmers in Mozambique raise quality cashews which are the result of a massive tree planting campaign. Mozambique was a world leader in cashew production for years, but civil unrest, aging trees and other factors brought the industry to its knees. Sunshine Nut company employs Mozambicans at every stage of planting, harvesting, shelling, roasting and packaging its cashew products, giving much needed opportunity for income to rural farmers. In addition, the freshly harvested nuts are roasted in Mozambique instead of being shipped to roasting facilities in other counties, which adds 3 to 6 months to the production cycle with the result that taste and quality are not as high as they could be. Super YUMMY!! We have a Tree Nut allergy in our family, however, these can be eaten because they haven't been manufactured in facilities that manufactures any nuts we are allergic to!! Woohoo!!!

So I used to order these all the time. Favorite flavor "spark of spice" and the net carbs were somehow 1 gram per serving. That seemed impossible and this time around I have realized that the net carbs are more true to cashews in general at like 8 net carbs per serving. I feel a little mislead but I knew better honestly. I watch ingredients pretty closely and these are still labeled all good. I have a little trust issues with it now since the carbs have somehow changed so much but the taste? AMAzing definitely delicious.

When I read the name of these cashews, "Spark of Spices," I was really hoping for a flavorful blend of spices. These cashews are tasty, but there is nothing complex about the flavor, all I get is salt and a little hot pepper (like cayenne). The heat from the pepper is very mild, definitely tempered for an "average" US palette. I think these would be better named "Hint of Heat." Would I buy them again? Probably not, because they're not my thing. But, would I recommend them? Sure, if you are looking for a lightly spiced cashew, these are great for you.
