Great product, truly best of breed...
The first time I ever installed nixalite I was in a man basket hanging beside a 7 story building in the middle of summer. In that case an early 70’s example of brutalism had become 1’ wide, concrete reinforced pidgeon roosts with great views and roomy enough for the largest pigeon family. I learned how to work with nixalite that day and was reminded of each error with prick in an exposed forearm. I have used many times since, but this was the first time on my home. Rather than pigeons my enemy was squirrels. Initially, the nixalite was a huge success though like man overcoming obstacles the squirrels tried to adapt to the new obstacle. When they climbed upside down, I added another piece of nixalite. It was when they started jumping trying to grab the bird feeder in mid air that I realized squirrels where indomitable.I realize it was only a 4’ jump but I soon realized my bird feeder was going to look like San Quentin or I was going to half to move it.So nixalite is absolutely the best product of its type, and will prevent squirrels from crossing it (but they may find a new route). Even though it didn’t work for me as squirrel protection I repurposed it to protect some exposed beams on a covered porch where birds commonly rested after eating and causing many pressure washing opportunities on the concrete below. I can say that it has performed wonderfully there.

Extremely well made
This isn’t cheap plastic or flimsy wire. It is very well designed to keep birds from landing or building their nests. I used construction adhesive to install it above my door and on an outdoor light. Robins we’re trying to build a nest above the light and swallows we’re trying to build above my front door. This has solved the issues in both areas!! I still have two lengths left if they try elsewhere.

works
use it for squirrels by bird feeders, most tree rats avoid it, but have had a few literally walk along spikes, but highly recommend still

Highly effective bird (and squirrel) deterent
I've been using these bird spikes to keep birds off my solar panels on multiple projects over the last 10 years.I've tried different brands, and different models. These are the best I've tried.

Worked like a charm
These bird spikes are pretty expensive but very well made and sturdy. The 2 ft sections were ideal for the spaces I needed to protect. I could just set them where I needed them so no experience using the mounting system that comes wth the spikes. Very pleased with results, birds (in our case robins who were insistent about building various nests on our house) won't come near them. Problem solved.

They Work!
Got a bird problem, get these spikes. This is the second time we’ve ordered these. Moved into our new house and had a problem with pigeons. We had used these on a former house when birds kept trying to build nests along our roof edge. They work great! Easy enough to put up. My husband wasn’t able to get up on the ladder so he guided me through the process and I put them up myself. Pretty simple and immediate results.

Works on birds, but didn't keep the cats off the roof
Sturdy, well made, and work well for birds. However, we wanted for a few cats that kept getting on the roof. Those cats just tip toe slowly and get right up there. Comical, but not the intended result. Bird yes...anything else...nope.

It worked my raccoons.
These babies are SHARP! I had a family of raccoons that would go up on my roof at night. I placed these at the top of the column support on my deck that they were using to climb. It's expensive but it worked. It would be good if they supplied a few more hold downs and screws. Use gloves. They recommend using a tin snip to cut. I didn't have one so I had to hack saw. This is a quality product so it's not the easiest material to saw.
