Underhill A-HBG-160K POC Hose Bib with Hose Thread Adapter and Pressure Gauge, 3/4-Inch, 160 PSI

Wonderful tool. Don't underestimate how important it is to set your water pressure. The EPA recommends 60psi max for residential homes. Our builders set our new house at almost 80psi. Our washer was loud as could be, even with hammer arresters on the pipes. After dialing it back to 60, the noise is appropriate and pipes should be at less risk of failure.Setting your own water pressure is very easy with this.

Functions well. Minor leaking. I can either live with the leak or fix it - haven't made up my mind yet.

I bought this one as I thought it would be better that the Rain Bird brand. I am not sure that is the case. This was not designed to be a water pressure gauge. They took a gauge with a threaded nipple and threaded a brass hose bib fitting on it with Teflon tape. Mine leaks and I had to re-fit it applying extra tape and threading it very tightly. I wouldn't buy it again.

This gauge was recommended in a newsletter offered by our local plumbing/ac company. I ordered it. It arrived quickly, was reasonable in cost and works great. It was to measure pressure in the outside water lines so that there wasn't too much stress from high pressure.

Could use a union style connection.Screws work lose after almost a year and need to buy another one
