I tried vests from two other sources and had to return them for fit or defect issues. This one appears well-made, the button snaps work as they should and the fit, according to their sizing chart, is accurate. At a muscular 5' 9", with a 41" chest and 34" waist, most mediums fit, but in this case, the large I ordered based on the sizing chart fit me well. I liked it enough that I ordered a second in a different color.I believe it does have functional pockets, but they appear to be mostly sewn shut, perhaps to keep everything trim and straight. I can insert a finger near the end of the stitching in each 'pocket' and it does feel like the vest has two lined and functional pockets, but I don't need them so left them stiched.

Its not the material i was expecting but it was ok i guess. The fit is the area it is not good. They put a long back strap on the back for adjustment but thing is no matter how much of a strap you put on it,the material and the size will only fit so much. The sizing guide is sized on the small side,This shouldve fit me as i ordered according to the size chart and the size i usually order. It barely can be buttoned. And the cut is weird,it hangs odd through the shoulders and the arms. Not a good fit at all but it will do. My final opinion,dont expect a great fit or great quality and you will be satisfied.

I honestly thought when the item is titled "Men's Suede Leather Vest," it might actually be a suede leather vest. Yes it's cheap but, thought it was a bargain.I was terribly disappointed when I opened the package and it was a cheap, fuzzy polyester, imitation of a leatherette vest. It's not even a good imitation of the old cheap "super suede" imitations from the 80s.So I went back and looked. And, sure enough, down in the description it says "90% polyester." So, I guess it's my fault for not reading the whole listing before I ordered

The vest is very nice looking, it is a man make material but looks like suade. I would have kept it but it was too small for comfort. It was returned via our local Kohl's store yesterday but as of yet has not showed up as being returned.?? I was planning to reorder the same vest in an XL, but not until I receive recognition of the returned vest.
