I've broken and worn out so many expensive wine glasses (yes expensive wine glasses have a life span). I'm a wine snob who would only use expensive glasses for the mouth fee and taste until I got tired of replacing my stock. The feel of these glasses is comparable.

Beautiful, feel great in your hand, make me feel very fancy even when I'm drinking cheap wine haha. They do take up a lot of room in the cupboard, so be sure to measure before you buy.

I love this company. I had two sets of beautiful Bordeaux glasses that finally broke six years after receiving as wedding gifts. I replaced with a set of these Beaujolais glasses. I took two out and stored the rest. I was washing one the other day and the bowl snapped in my hand. I use a pretty light touch with wine glasses so I was surprised. I took a brand new one out of the box today to wash and the bowl snapped off of the stem in my hand. The old Bordeaux set must have been sturdier because I never broke any of them this way. Very disappointed.EDIT: Broke a third glass washing it extremely gingerly. Sliced my finger. I'm going to throw out the rest. Ridiculous.

After a month in Spain and their amazing gin and tonics...see Abadia in Bilboa with over 500 gins, I wanted really nice bulb glasses. The usual ones are too thick and frankly come off cheap! Not these...! Beautiful and incredible!

These are beautiful “Zwiesel Glas” Tritan crystal glasses made in Germany. This boxed set of 6 glasses (16.5 oz each) is labeled as a set of “Verbelle Chardonnay” glasses that are “For Professional Use”. The label doesn’t mention “Vervino Cabernet” as described in the current product listing. These are lead free crystal glasses with modern yet elegant lines. I love that these glasses are thin and refined but made of Tritan glass so they’re resistant to breaking, scratching and chipping.I’m really impressed with these glasses. The foot of each glass is etched with the Zwiesel Glas name and insignia. The thin glass has a brilliant shine and clarity, and I don’t see bubbles or imperfections. The glasses have tall, slender stems that feel refined in my hand. The rims are so thin and pleasing to drink from as they don’t disturb the flow of the wine. To my eye, these have a flatter base than a more traditional “U” shape glass and straighter, elongated walls with a high neck.The tall stems and glass shape are well designed to keep white wine cooler and direct the more subtle aromas of whites toward the nose. The box indicates these are varietal specific Chardonnay glasses and I have used them mostly for Chardonnay so far as that’s what my family enjoys most, but I’ve also used them for other whites and reds too. While a wine connoisseur may disagree, I love the shape and clean lines and am perfectly happy to use these as universal glasses.These have a lovely musical ring when tapped lightly. While I mostly hand wash these glasses as the rims are thin, they are dishwasher safe. It’s a great option when cleanup is daunting. Whether used as a varietal specific Chardonnay glass or a universal glass, I enjoy these glasses so much as I love the shape, thin glass and delicate feel combined with Tritan technology that makes them less fragile. I love these for personal and entertaining, and I think these would be a wonderful gift for the holidays and other occasions. 5 stars.
