Anytime Tools Premium Dial Caliper 0-6"/0.001" Precision Double Shock Proof Solid Hardened Stainless Steel

I am a machinist who reaches for a tool like this more than 100 times per day and I own more than 30 of them. I have to rave about this new design. It moves smoothly with a solid feel. It has a fast and easy to read dial. After only 1 month, it has become my favorite, over the more expensive name brands. I will buy more of these!

Quality and resemblance are very similar to my 12" mitutoyo caliper. Feels nice and sturdy. Very smooth when measuring. Not loose and flimsy like other cheap Chinese made calipers. Very impressed. Would rate 5 stars but found two cosmetic issues but doesn't affect the function. Near the .060 mark on the face, there is a small scratch. There's also a small scrape near blade that's used to measure the "I.D." see pictures. Not a deal breaker for the price you pay.

I got these based on reviews i saw to replace a much higher priced brand that had gotten off accuracy and couldn't be calibrated anymore and im glad i did because these are extremely accurate after checking them at work and they are very smooth sliding and are ever bit as good as ones costing three to four times as much will be checking out other tools with this name on them.

I’m a machinist in the oil patch. Our tolerances are easy enough to work within so I’m reluctant to buy the high dollar measuring tools because the conditions are rough. I have found this caliper sturdy, smooth, dependable and accurate within 0.001 when verified by micrometer.Excellent value for the money.

It's funny how the dial reads "Shock proof" but this tool didn't survive a 3 foot drop.It would be understandable to see damage to the fine tips of the caliper but I mean now I have 3 up to 10 thou error in my dial.Not even in its prime would I use it for aerospace work, it shows a half a thou error brand new,plus it gives if you squeeze hard enough ; My work environment is rough and many of the tolerances I work with are 1/32 ,so I didn't require the most precise tool but still, it is now useless for +- .01 tolerances which show up once in a while.
