BRINKS671-50061 Commercial 50mm Brass Solid Body Lock with Adjustable Shackle

The lock functions as promised and all movable parts move easy. If it is as sturdy as the PACKAGING I will be happy. The packaging of this lock is way over the top and is not that easy to open.

This is a high quality padlock and the long shackle makes locking a dumpster lid easier. The long shackle is useful for passing thru a couple points then once engaged, can construct down. I recommend.

i used this lock to secure two pull doors on a cabinet. the lock holds the two door handles from opening. the adjustable lock slide works great for this application, securely holding the doors closed with no installation or holes being drilled in the doors.the quality of the lock surprised me. all parts of it are very solid and nicely sized. it comes with 2 keys (it is not a combination lock as the description says). i very much recommend this lock.i can't imagine being disappointed with this product.

This lock has been shown to be easily picked but I'm using it in a low security role. The important selling point for me was the adjustable locking lengths. However, it is a little difficult to insert and turn the key when the lock is on the innermost lock notches of the shackle. Overall, I'm satisfied with it.
