Unicorns, Mermaids, and Mad Libs: World's Greatest Word Game

Our 4 and 7 year old loved these on a roadtrip. It was a great way to avoid screen time and learn about different parts of speech.

Using this product to teach parts of speech in my homeschool. Fun way to learn your nouns and verbs!

So happy to introduce my daughter to these. So much fun and good language practice for kids. I would use them in the classroom as well.

As a retired English teacher, I do not hate the idea of teaching the parts of speech to children (especially in a fun way!). The Mad Libs books are classics, fun and funny! Go Mad Libs!!

The cardboard in the booklet is new to me and awesome, no need to find something to write on! I bought this because me and my 8 yr old had a blast filling out a mad lib on the back of a cereal box. Unfortunately, so far these just haven't made us crack up like that first one did. The stories/placement of blank spots aren't very funny in my opinion. We'll still have fun using it and it's great quality, but this just didn't live up to our laughspectations.Still a great, fun learning activity for everyone! Definitely was a refresher in grammar for me and my little one!

Make up silly stories while learning the parts of speech. At my granddaughter's birthday party, each guest contributed to creating a funny story by adding a noun, a verb, or an adjective when asked. Then, when my granddaughter read the story created, all stayed engaged in listening to the story, as they contributed to making it as silly as it ends up being. There are several stories that can be created in each booklet, and they can be as wild and zany as the words contributed make them. Very engaging for all.

We were traveling from VA to FL. There were 3 adults and 3 children in the suv. What a blast we had with this Madlib. Our 6 year old granddaughter laughed so hard at the crazy stories.

my daughter loves mad libs, they provide hours of fun while being educational. It has even become a family game for in the car to fill them out and read together on road trips. I would recommend them to anyone who has kids, even if they cant do them by themselves.

I came across Mad Libs through Jimmy Fallon and later discovered the books through a friend. I immediately knew that I definitely needed one of them but sadly I couldn't purchase most of them because of my location...Genuinely, I was a bit disappointed when it arrived because the term 'pocketbook' seems a tiny bit exaggerated considering that it's actually just a thin writing pad. Apart from that, I'm completely satisfied with it and playing it with my friends (on an additional piece of paper instead of the provided space on the pad) is a whole lot of fun and it's just as exciting and hilarious each time with each new story that develops.
