Did you know. The most common tool used in vehicle burglary and theft is a screwdriver! It's fast, easy and doesn't attract as much attention as breaking a window. The good news is, we can help! What is the Jimmi Jammer ? A custom formed steel plate that bolts to the backside of your door handle, preventing thieves from prying into the handle seam or punching the lock cylinder into the door. In this case, the thief pryed under the handle to get at the lock rod inside the door. Others may try to "punch" the lock into the door, breaking the handle plastic, easily and quietly gaining entry.

Only Slows down the thief.
An attempt to break into my 97 F150 was made by "punching" the lock cylinder into the door, so after doing some research I found the Jimmi Jammer. I ordered and installed them, I did find it somewhat difficult to install them due to the location of the handle in the door.Fast forward a couple weeks I awoke at about 3:30 am to an alarm going off in our parking lot, I threw on my shoes and went out to find both my door handles pried out of the doors, both lock cylinders destroyed (the passenger side lock they drilled out the cylinder), and my $300 stereo gone. My Final repair bill, not including a replacement stereo, was over $1400. If they had just punched the locks again it would have only cost the $50 or so for a new door handle (it is what I had to do the first time) plus the cost of the stereo, I would have saved money in the long run. If a thief really wants into your vehicle, the Jimmi Jammer will not stop them.
