Beautiful album if you were a fan of "Live" in the 90's. Ed's first solo album after he left the band in 2009. More on the spiritual side but, definitely a gem if you collect vinyl albums. My record is super quiet and sounds perfect.

I couldn't wait for the album as I have been a fan since Ed appeared on the scene. His music dominates my collection and this new venture completely blows me away. There is a new dimention of powerful emotion driven songs that make me want to hear them over and over again. His voice is really raw and emotion packed on some of the tracks. So heartfelt. A great example is "Soul Whispers". Check out this album and if you like connecting emotionally with an artist because that is what Ed has been able to do with his fans for years and continues to do on this album.

This cd proves why +Live+ was such a powerful force in the 90s! Great songs,and Great songwriting from Ed on this one,and I highly Recommended it!!! If we cant have +Live+ reunite,Im glad that at least both +Live+ and Ed are continuing to make Great music!!

I have always loved Live so when the lead singer decided to make this album I was sooooo hoping it still had the same vibe that I loved in Live. Well he exceeded my expectations. It is a great cd!! His voice is still exceptional as are his lyrics, Its very upbeat and positive, Just a great Listen.

If you don't own this get it! Ed is an amazing singer and songwriter!

Ed sounds fresh and spontaneous. The songs have good rhythm and letters with his well-known voice.

this CD rocks. Great driving songs for the long road trips. Ed Kowalczyk is great and I cant wait for his new one coming out soon!

This album by Ed Kowalczyk is quite a decent album. The first thing I've noticed upon listening to the album is that it has a distinctive christian leaning. It's not overtly obvious - the only place I noticed was in the song "Zion" where he says something like "the place where my Lord will comfort me".The genre of the album is the same as the band he used to front - Live. Though while he was the front-man for Live, the songs would have a Buddhist theme to them, which over the 15 years of being a Live fan, I came to appreciate.His lyrics on this album can be as strange as they were during his run with Live, though now for me they're easier to understand and are less abstract.Lately I've come to appreciate this album. I love Ed's vocals and his skill as a singer is both distinct and unmatched. His spiritual (more or less Christian) lyrics and theme in this album I also appreciate, as I'm currently going through a bumpy road too spiritually, and his lyrics are encouraging and lighthearted.Overall: 5 stars for an excellent album that turned out to be better than I originally anticipated.
