Nico: A Mafia Romance: Ruin & Revenge Series, Book 1

This book started off kind of slow but about 20% into the book it picks up speed and packs a wallop. I loved the hero and really loved the heroine, who was independent and spunky and brave. Nico is the son of a mobster who was born outside his father's marriage. He witnessed his father murder and swore to get revenge. While he is attending a dinner, three Mafioso are gunned down and he finds Mia, the daughter of a rival Don in the restaurant. He suspects she maybe involved but she escapes and he lets her go. The two are immensely attracted to each other but like Romeo and Juliet their love is forbiddenThey go thru a lot of ups and downs but you can tell they like that they are both unconventional and they challenge each other in a good way. One of the most tender moments is when Nico realizes that he's fallen in love with Mia, gave me goosebumps!I am a big fan of the author's work. I have read the MMA series and just started reading her MC series. In all of her books she writes steamy, sensuous love scenes but what I like best about her books is the development of emotional intimacy between the couples and the way the characters, particularly the men have a depth of complexity that belies how the outside world typically sees them. Her heroes are alpha men who are very virile and powerful but they can also be sensitive and surprisingly vulnerable with the women they love. These alpha men may be strong, but they like strong feisty women who aren't afraid to stand up to them and challenge them. Her heroes have experienced a lot of hardships and heartaches but they are willing to take a chance on love again when they meet the right woman. All of her books really show you the redeeming and healing power of love. She also writes great secondary characters. The next book features Lucas, but I really want to read Frankie's story!

This mafia romance kicked a$$! Nico and Mia were awesome and Sarah Castile’s writing captured me from page 1. What really made me enjoy Nico was how the author portrayed Nico and Mia and this mafia world. These two people who knows how the mafia world operates because they both exist in it because of their families. Nico is the capo of his family and Mia wants nothing to do with hers and tries to separate herself from it but her abusive and controlling father and mafia Boss has other plans for his daughter. It’s dark, uncomfortable and gritty. Just like I expected the mafia world to be.Nico and Mia has an incredible chemistry. Instantly attracted to one another and also fascinated. They both accept each other for who they are. Nico can be ruthless but only when it’s warranted. Towards Mia he’s gentle but also dominating. The perfect balance. Mia is a fierce and strong woman. Protects her little sister from their father and doesn’t want to be labeled. She believes in free will and a woman can amount to anything they set their mind to. My kind of heroine.Nico is my first book from this author and now I need to read more from her. I’m impressed and now a fan.4.5 Mr Mob Boss Stars

Not everyone likes a good mafia story, but if you do, NICO is definitely one for you!Nico Toscani has seen the good and bad to life. She had been the "black sheep" of the family and she liked it that way. She became a highly sought after hacker and she helped to keep people & their businesses SAFE. This wasn't the life a Mafia Princess was suppose to live. And her father was constantly angered by her choices.Mia was hired to do a job for Nico (without Nico's knowledge.) She doesn't realize who she is working for. Their families have unpleasant history. So when Nico & Mia are thrown together, it sets off a series of events that puts both families in jeopardy.This story keeps you intrigued. It has the bad mafia, dirty cops (and clean ones), hackers, enforcers, drugs, and lots of food! There is danger, kidnapping, semi-stalking, and the pushy friend!Nico wants to make things better but no one wants to follow his vision, so it puts the things that he cares about most in jeapordy. Not everyone can face the challenges that Nico & Mia had to face and those challenges may be strong enough to pull them apart (especially if her father has anything to do with it!)Definitely a must read/listen... The audio version of this book is fantastic.

Nico Toscani is a boss in the Toscani crime family, his uncle, Santo, had became the boss after his father was killed by a rival mafia family, the Cordano crime family. Nico vowed was to get revenge for his father's death by killing Mia's father(Don Cordano). Mia Cordano is the mafia princess, daughter of Don Cordano and owner of the HGH Enterprise Inc., was hired by Nico's casino to test his security system but was caught by one of his bodyguard. The attraction was strong between Mia and Nico but not act upon due to their rival family feud. Don Cordano was ruthless, physical and verbally abusive toward the females in his family in any form his devious mind flowed. The main and supporting characters was well written and the writing flowed smoothly without flaws. I don't want to give any plot points away, and ruin anyone else's enjoyment to this book but it is a must read because every chapter unfolds like a puzzle.

Absolutely loved this book! I'm in love with Nico! Loved all the characters, the book is well written I thoroughly enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend to anyone you won't be disappointed!

I love mafia romances and this is definitely one of the better ones. Filled with suspense, twists and turns, strong characters and tight writing, a great read.4.5 stars

Sarah is an incredible writer, from MMA to MC to the Mafia, there isn't a genre she cannot pull off! I loved Nico and can't wait to indulge in Luca. Mia and Nico is almost like a modern day Romeo and Juliet, in that they are from families that have had a blood feud for a decade but fall in love 😍 and have obstacles which they have to overcome externally as well as learning to trust each other. Great read couldn't put it down!!!

Great book. This story keeps you intrigued. There is danger, kidnapping and a little stalking. It also has the bad mafia (of course), dirty cops (and clean ones), hackers, enforcers and drugs. Highly recommend.

Love the characters, the story line was so well done it sucks you in until the end, I would love a sequel to nico and Mia
