Though the auto warning message saying that these did not fit my vehicle, I ordered these struts based on the stated dimensions and another review and they fit just fine. As another reviewer noted, you do need to fully open the hatch and support it with a stick or a helper. The clips on each end were easily backed off a bit to allow the sockets to slide onto the ball and the install took 5 minutes. I gave the value 4 stars only due to unobserved duty life. I may come back in a year or two and either raise or lower based on results.FWIW, I also ordered the hood struts for this car as Hyundai synchronized the piston failures on all four struts perfectly. Those were a tad more fiddly since there are small trim pieces that need to be removed before you can get to the lower ball mounts. They were still novice skill level to fit and matched the factory units 100%.

In the past, I’ve successfully ordered online car parts (filters, belt, etc.), but I was very nervous ordering LIFT SUPPORTS for a large very heavy SUV “hatchback” door that could literally kill me if it dropped on my head. The detailed pre-order checklist provided by the seller pinpointed the EXACT lift supports I needed and my “mechanic” installed them in less than 5 minutes. I will always come back here for all future auto parts.

Parts arrived fast, and were a direct fit for the OEM Hyundai rear hatch struts.I watched a short youtube video with instructions and had my new struts installed in about 15 minutes.Tools needed were a small flat head screw driver, and a broom stick.

Should have bought them years ago. My Hyundai dealer was quoting over $700 for the OEM replacement so I held off on replacing them with dealer. I found these here on Amazon and they fit perfectly! Very easy to install and very safe. Haven’t failed. Shipping was great.

These fit my 2013 Santa Fe perfect. Took about 5 min and a screwdriver to install. Saved me $100 from what the dealership wanted to charge me.

It does the job but it’s not as smooth as the original came with the car .. Much better than putting a 2 x 4 to hold my left gate open

Old lift supports were starting to show their age. These new ones are great. Really easy to install.

took me only 10 to 15 minutes to remove the old ones and install the new ones. the tail gate works great now and stays up until you close it.
