Cavs rules. Get the book if you love real New York graffiti

This book means a lot to me. I grew up blocks away on 241. White Plains Road my name is also Paul and I’m probably around his age. I remember seeing him at the PS 16 parks I believe they called him coach either that or he lived right by someone called coach. I ended up becoming good friends with another fellow named Paul, who lived right on Matilda, who sadly passed away about five years ago. It brings me back to that neighborhood, I only live 20 minutes away but it’s like a different world but I recommend this book to anyone who likes graffiti came from the north Bronx like I did.

I just got this book yesterday. It is a FANTASTIC book. More to follow in a few days...Update Dec. 2018: I have hundreds of graffiti books and this one is my best book. I go back to it again and again for inspiration. The quality is excellent, like a coffee table book. Hundreds of photographs I've never seen before. Most importantly, if you are a student of old school graffiti, this book has all the information you need to understand Wildstyle letter structure and both simple and complex piecing. Just my opinion, but I love this book and highly recommend it. If you were a kid in New York City in the 1980s this book will bring you right back there.

Great book. If you are into graffiti culture, this book is a must have! The quality of the flix are outstanding. Paul Cavalieri did a great job documenting the goings on under 238th street bridge.

Anything "CAVS"puts out is going to be awesome.I hope he keeps puttig books out on the old graf scene, they're worth it.They bring back childhood memories.

Paulie Cavs is one of the great writers and historians in the graffiti culture...this book has some gems...
