Lighting assistance is the key word here. I wanted to use this stuff to keep a pretty flame going in a DIY fire glass pit. Nope, light went out after 5 minutes. Disappointed. Cute while it lasted though!! Going to have to keep adding gel every 5 minutes? no fun!

I LOVED this product. It was so simple to use. I am a beekeeper and I use a smoker when inspecting my hives. I inspect about once a week. It normally takes me a very long time to light a small fire.even with one of those hand held lighters. Just two small drops of the gel directly from the pouch into the smoker containing twigs and leaves and I got it lit with just one ordinary match. It was the easiest and fastest way to light the smoker, ever! I will be using this product for all my fire lighting needs, i.e., camping, grilling, wood stove, and fireplace. I am hooked!!!
