These things are heavy! If they could make 25lb plates that were a bit lighter, they would really have a winning product!I have the XMark tri-grip plates and was a little nervous about switching brands BUT I actually like these better than my more expensive xmarx plates. They have a smoothly machined center ring which slides on nice and smooth. Otherwise, the 25lb plates are almost identical to the XMark. And if noise is a concern (I live in an apartment and Mike from downstairs already gave me a call), I think the rubber coated plates are worth the investment.

Well... Was excited to get this but gone one 25lb when ordered 2. The other box was a bunch of screws. Returned same day and ordered elsewhere
