It’s difficult to find GF baking items near me and this was exactly what I needed. Will order again

I was apprehensive that this 6X powdered sugar would be more gritty than the usual 10X you get in the grocery store, but I couldn't tell the difference. It blended well in a buttercream frosting recipe I use, with no noticeable texture difference. It was smooth and sweet, as it should have been, but then again, I've never had trouble with gritty frosting. Judee's says that the slightly less fine confectioner's sugar means that they don't have to use cornstarch as an anti-clumping agent, so the difference might be noticeable for other recipes.The bag contains about 3 cups of confectioner's sugar. I would have rather had a bag that was a full pound since so many recipes call for that much. For those with food sensitivities, Judee's is a good bet since it is certified gluten- and nut-free, having been processed in a facility free of those potential allergens.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

This Judee’s 6X Powdered Confectioners Sugar is great for making frosting or other recipes that require powdered sugar. It can be difficult to find vegan confectioners sugar, so I really appreciate Judee's! A lot of the standard sugar that you find in the USA is processed with bone char, rendering it not suitable for vegans. Unless it's labeled vegan or organic, you should assume that bone char was used. USDA certified organic sugar cannot use bone char.I'm really happy with this sugar. The bag is small and resealable, so it won't go to waste sitting too long in my kitchen. I don't use that much powdered sugar, though I do like having it for when I need it. I've always loved lemon squares, and they definitely need powdered sugar! I mostly make chocolate frosting using maple or date syrups, but vanilla decorating frosting needs powdered sugar. This sugar worked great for the frosting for my sugar cookies! Highly recommend!!

What can I say about powdered sugar? This is a nice powdered sugar – nice and fluffy like so I put it in my little tea ball thingie and this way I can sprinkle across anything – even just toast to be a bit fancy. It tastes nice – like powdered sugar.The thing that sets this apart is that it is clearly marked Vegan – and I LOVE that. Most of us Vegans have to suck it up and just hope for the best for whatever powdered sugar we can find for our baking – or make out own in the blender (which is just not the same). The reason sugar – or powdered sugar – would not be considered “vegan is how it is processed. 3.21.22~ Without a doubt the best tasting powdered sugar.It has just the right sweet but that's also what makes 6x a lil better.It's not as powdered as 10x so you taste the sweet of the sugar grains.If you don't know, 6x sugar grains are between table sugar & 10x.It is mixed with corn starch to make an icing a little thicker.It does not taste like cornstarch. It's just for texture.Used Judee's to make cream cheese icing for brownies.It tastes divine out of the bag.On my dark brownies ..mixed with cream cheese and butter? Sugar lover's dream.Now I know my missing ingredient. The powdered sugar.You can find so many varieties of granulated sugar but rarely powdered.Thank you Judee for filling in the missing gap & making it so well.

Wet powder. The macaronaj was runny

I have a friend who has a violent reaction to gluten and needs to absolutely avoid it. I like to gift her with things that I know are safe for her and the fact that this is made in a GF facility eases my mind (and hers too!) This vanilla sugar tastes great. I like it for an added layer of vanilla when I bake or make ice cream. It's just a way for me to deepen the flavors.

This is confectioner's sugar comes in a sturdy zip-top bag that is moisture-, light- and smellproof. I love that the bag stands upright on its own, which makes it much easier to get what you need with a measuring spoon (compared to tranditional flimsy plastic bags of powdered sugar).It sprinkles nicely, and mixes and dissolves well; it looks and tastes exactly like confectioner's sugar should.
