Corner Shower Caddy Tension Pole for Shampoo Holder, Stainless Steel Rod

For years, my man and I have been balancing our products against the wall on the edge of our ancient footed tub, putting what couldn't fit on the lead covered window still that's in reach, and having to put extra products such as our new pup's products under the tub. At first, I recieved the product but lacked the pole, which made the other parts useless. 😭 I quickly found a support email & sent my plea for just the parts that make the pole! I recieved late night responses relatively quickly, and they sent me an ENTIRE NEW KIT! I was floored in surprise!! I recieved it in my doorstep four (4) days later, when funnily enough, I just recieved a response email to tell me my tracking number because it has shipped!!! 🤣😂😆 The assembly took very close understanding of the images, comments, arrows, and it comes in three (3) pages that are in different forms of packing. Two were in certain parts bags (there's a fourth for an additional support parts), the main directions were lose. The biggest part to know in reading/ understanding the main directions, part A is the part that goes on the ceiling. That had me doing the assembly part twice over, haha! You need to have the height between the floor and ceiling in inches. This is important because you need to figure setting part A to extend an eighth point sixth (1.6 inches) to two (2) inches beyond what the height is, for tension. Also, they give you a formula of parts to use to get too that height juuust right to have the perfect tension! Another tip is if you assemble it outside your bathroom (I have a closet bathroom, there's no way I could have assembled it in my lavatory (bathroom)! If you need to do so, when you're ready to go through the doorway, separate part A from the first part C you attached, or wherever a lower point is on the pole where the C's or other parts separate, that a shelf isn't on, and reattach those parts where you need to place it. I'm so excited to take a shower and not have any of my products fall on me or created water on the floor! And I RENT, so me being careful about how I treat what's not mine, is really funny! But the shelves actually perfectly go over the tub edge and my curtain closes with ease. To say I'm already thrilled, is laughable! Points on construction/ material I have is that the pole being Aluminum/ metal, is fantastic! There's rubber to prevent and stable the shelves and hanger/ hook. Everything else is plastic, but it is very durable plastic! I tested the pull on the shelves with the rubber elastics they provide, and boy am I really impressed! If you have products you pump out of large (not gallon of extra large, I think it might fit, might work, but I currently don't have it) containers this will do just fine! It bows a bit, but the shelves stay very sturdy and don't waiver. They can twist easily, but they don't go up or down easily! Really, just overall impressed with the product, the extremely amazing customer service, and reliability of purchasing this product. I went out on a limb and gave this a shot thinking I'd be royally screwed (no chance for help), and I ended with a product I needed YEARS ago! 😍

There are dozens of these on Amazon, and I was looking to replace my old one, which honestly worked perfectly fine aside from eventually starting to rust around the weld spots. One of my initial concerns with this one was the plastic racks. I worried they might look or feel cheap compared to the typical wire designs. But once installed, that really wasn’t the case. It actually looks clean and modern, and I’m guessing the plastic may end up being less prone to rusting long term. There are also plenty of drainage holes so water doesn’t just sit there. Installation was just as easy as my old one, and once you get the height and spring tension adjusted correctly, it has a strong, solid hold. The caddy has four racks, which gives plenty of storage space. Features I liked on this one that my old one didn’t have: - The removable bars that can be installed facing either upward or downward. I’d suggest putting the downward-facing bars with hooks on the top two racks. - The hooks on two of the bars are adjustable and actually hold my chunky 5-blade razor really well. - The small towel bar at the top. - One of the racks has larger cutouts that let you store shampoo or conditioner bottles upside down, which is actually really convenient. Interestingly, I don’t think that feature was even mentioned in the product description. Overall, solid product and a nice upgrade from my old caddy.

I purchased this for our home, our cottage, and my mother, It’s been great in every space. The versatility is excellent, and I especially love that you can use liter-size shampoo and conditioner bottles! Each shelf has plenty of room for all your essentials. It’s perfect for organizing shampoo, soap, conditioner, body wash, and even includes space for extras like a razor, sponge, and towels. The self-draining shelves are a great feature so everything stays clean and doesn’t collect water. It was also very easy to put together and install. The adjustable pole makes it simple to fit different shower heights (no cutting needed), and once it’s set, everything is within easy reach. A very practical and well-designed shower organizer. Good purchase!

At first I was planning on dropping a lot of money on a simplehuman shower caddy. I wanted something that would last and looked really nice, not another cheap flimsy thing that I would replace shortly. The bathroom that I bought this for is the one used by my children/guests. It needs to be functional and sturdy while not looking terrible. Preferably easy to clean too without small gaps so that toys can go in the baskets. I decided to give this one a try. It wasn't the look I was going for but I was sold on all the good reviews and the much much lower price tag. I figured if it was terrible I could just return it. I am VERY glad that I ordered it. I was worried that the plastic would look cheap and would be thin and flimsy. While it doesn't look expensive, it also doesn't look bad at all. It's not flimsy, it's rather sturdy. I can put full size shampoos on it no problem. With the cross bar I don't have to worry about my toddler pulling them down on himself, so my daughter can keep her stuff higher up out of his way without much concern on my part. The baskets are not too small, but they also are not huge. I can't say that my husband put this up in the most useful way. I think he was thinking the hooks should all be lower, but that means he put the lowest hooks so low they are almost literally inside the tub. I guess that's OK for now with the little, but I'd probably have raised them up more. You do have a lot of options, but think about where you want the hooks vs. cross bars to go when you're setting it up ahead of time. Taking them out can be annoying. Over all I am pleased with this purchase. It's not fancy, but it's very functional for a reasonable price.

This is a really simply designed corner tension shelf unit. I replaced all of my bathroom fixtures to a matte black, and the shelf I bought a few years ago (very similar design to this, probably a different brand) no longer matched and stuck out like a sore thumb. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the little issues I had with the old shelving unit seemed to be improved on with this one! My old shelf only had three hooks total, so I was happy to see that this one comes with six. The slots for razors is also a nice improvement. The biggest functional improvements--old shelf had round rubber ring gaskets to hold the shelves up. They would twist and lose their stickiness, causing the shelves to slip and sag. This one has silicone sleeves, which is a much better implementation, and should hold up a lot longer. The old shelf had a tension crank to turn, as well as the lock in bar situation, and it was a PAIN to get up and take down. This one is a much simpler and more effective design. At first, I felt silly and wasteful for buying a new one just to change the color, but it definitely wound up being an upgrade to my old unit. Really pleased!

Fit perfectly in the shower. Very easy to put together. Lots of storage and hanger clips.

Product lasted 2 years 7 months. Which for my household that is good. Today it decided to fall and now will not stay in place so I'm looking at options. I did love this product and do recommend it.

This shower caddy works well, its just too bad I've never liked them. I love the fact you can customize the shelves with or without the bar. Wish that each shelve had a rubber pad so that the items on it wouldn't slide forward on the shelf. If it wasn't for the safety bar on each shelf your shampoos etc, would likely slide off. The rubber band that goes under each shelf to hold it in place once wet, falls apart so you will need to reinforce them with a line of clear tape to hold the rubber in place. I like the holders for your razor or squeegee. Never really sure why the builder of my home didn't include a shelf in the shower but that is another issue altogether... I can recommend this caddy if this is the only option you have.

Nice, but honestly fell down after 4-5 hours causing alarm in the middle of the night. Got it drilled into my false ceiling after.

Works well, and is easy to assemble. We were worried when we first installed it as it seemed a bit flimsy, but once items are added to the shelves it sturdies up and that worry goes away. This item does not work out of the box if you have cornices in the bathroom like we do. It's simple to workaround! We just got a thick triangular piece of wood, painted it with the same paint as the ceiling so it's resistant to steam, and put the tension pole against it (see picture). It works splendidly. One downside, we would like more of the plastic hooks, but can't seem to find any that are the same. UPDATE 23/09/2021: I bought this over a year ago, and it is still holding up well. I paid $82 AUD for it (including shipping, sold via Amazon US). I would not pay more than $100 AUD for this item, like the current dropshippers want (at time of writing, $170).
