This is a durable and easy install truck bed cover. It looks great, seal is nice and tight no leaks. Highest recommendation. This is on my 2024 Honda Ridgeline

Looks good but...
Mostly I bought this cover for the clean look, versatility and security it provides. It was delivered promptly and in good shape. Hats off to the Prime delivery person. I hope he/she had some help because it’s a heavy lift for one person. As for the review; I gave it an overall four stars. Here are the reasons why it did not get the five stars:- The instructions were ‘lacking’. I am talking about a four-page document, and two of those pages were parts breakdown. The written instructions were vague and the pictures reminded me of the old J.C. Whitney catalog. I started to doubt the hardware would fit on my 2020 Honda Ridgeline. The title was throwing me off because its states ‘(#69)Honda Ridgeline 2017-now). This could have been written in 2019 as far as ‘now’ is concerned, and models always have a slight change each year. So I decided to put away the instructions, and wake up the intuition brain cells. I checked Al Gore's internets, and verified the fit. In the end, I wound up taking off the cover twice, no easy task, in order to get it mounted right.- The final fit was a big problem on my truck. There was a huge gap at the tailgate, and this is without putting on any of the provided weather stripping. The front looked great, but the back, nope. Turns out that the cover was resting on the ‘tongues’ (see picture), and preventing to fully lock down. I tried bending them, with no success. Finally, I got out the Dremel and cut-off the tops. The cover locks in place, and looks flusher. Nevertheless, there is still a slight gap on the driver’s side. Not sure why, unless my tailgate is bent, which is highly unlikely on a new truck. The only options is to remove the rear weather stripping, which the tailgate is resting on, or just live with it, and hear my wife bring it up every time we go for a ride ( -ai Dios!).Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and would recommend to my friend, which I wont because I do not have a friend with a truck.Enjoy, and drive friendly.

Adequate quality, instructions ok, a few idiosyncrasies
After studying the instructions in advance, it took me 54 minutes to install, with adjustments. Components supplied in the kit appeared to be somewhat generic to other trucks. Odd points: 1) bracket that holds the front section to the rails is not parallel to the cover itself )see photo), such that the locknuts can't be put on the thumb nut. I thought about taking apart and bending it but I was afraid I'd break it. 2) safety straps are to be hooked "thru the hole" in the mounting bracket, but there are no holes in the Ridgeline brackets. 3) foam strips are not needed on Ridgeline box. New install, no comment yet on durability. Looks ok.

New Bed Topper for 2021 Honda Ridgeline
Just installed an XCover on my 2021 Ridgeline. Pretty easy to install, instructions were vague so I went slow. Fits nice, tail gate works in both directions properly, looks good. The side rails are the key to installation, make sure they are all the way forward and the rail is level along its length. Note, there is a raised edge on the rails that will be 1/4" above the trucks bed sides, this seats into a depression on the XCover for a good seal. The last step is to verify the closing pins align with the triangle shaped latches on the XCover, they slide forward and back to correctly align with these pins. Good luck.

A big improvement over my last (flexible) cover
This cover was easy to install even for this 75 year old man! It seems to be well made and is easy to use. It leaks a little but only a tiny little bit. This is something I could address if it were of importance to me. If you are considering a tonneau cover, give this one a serious look. I had a flexible one on my last Ridgeline, and this one beats it hands down on.

Great value - fits well... after a little work. :-)
The reviews are dead on - the cover fits well (after a little work), the directions are terrible, and you will have to modify the locking brackets or the cover will not close completely or lock. The suggestion of filing the bolt on the locking bracket is accurate. The one thing I'll add is that with the cover rails flush, the aftermost seal on the aft section of the cover either (a) prevents the cover from closing flush on the tailgate, or (b) if you close it with the tailgate open, it is flush but prevents the tailgate from closing. What I did that worked is to take a razor and cut off the very last section that seal rubber. That leaves it with only one seal, but then everything fits beautifully and the lock works well. This is going on a brand new 2023 Ridgeline RTL.

Well built, heavy duty and heavy, terrible installation instructions
This is a heavy duty cover and very heavy. Seems to be well built, however time will tell. I had a soft cover on my old pick up for 12 years. Still works, starting to wish I bought another soft trifold. Anyway, installation instructions are terrible, found a youtube video that helped me. Not a simple install and it should be if the installation instruction were better. Note the instructions were generic and wish they were specific to my Honda ridgeline. There were extra parts in the package for the ridgeline so you have to figure it out. Also there are 2 safety straps (which are a good idea) but they are not long enough to attach to anything so I had to make extenders. Those are my issues as of now. Seems like a decent cover.
