I've had better locks. Definitely won't be using this to lock my bike.I've struggled to lock it fully on occasions as the key wouldn't turn fully without wiggling encouragement. I think with enough effort I could break this in under 5 mins. I'm using it in conjunction with a chain to secure my generator on site. I also have another chain with a Squires combi lock on on ghe generator as I doubt this little bit of kit would be much of a deterrent to anyone determined enough to break into it.Useful visual aid but I wouldn't trust it to secure anything of value.Still it was cheap and cheerful so my error for not opting to something more expensive.Ya pays yer money, ya takes yer choice.....

This would only deter a casual thief. Anyone with basic thieving equipment would be through the lock in moments.

This was bought to use with with an e-scooter.Effectively, this is a small, rigid cable lock with an inner diameter of around 9 inches.It fits through the rear wheel of most scooters or around any of the tubular sections of the scooter. Used around the handlebar sections, it's too small to get over the handlebars or deck, providing a convenient anchor for a separate cable, to secure around a fixed object. In most situations, it's not long enough to secure the scooter/bike to a fixed object.Used with a separate cable, this will give a minimal amount of deterrence to the casual thief, it won't deter a professional thief and is easily circumvented with a pair of bolt croppers.

I do like the thickness of this lock, seems very protective if someone tries to snap in cable. But the licking mechanism itself looks cheap and so do the keys, looks like it's made from pewter or plastic with a shine painted on
