How can this be called yupo paper?
I have used this paper for alcohol inks. When I first pick up a sheet it felt like photo paper. Photo paper will tear. This paper will not tear. After the ink dries, much of the ink can be wiped off with your hand or a cloth. If wiped with a q-tip and alcohol, all the ink will come off and the paper is again white and not stained from the ink. The ink is not absorbed into the paper at all. This is definitely not like yupo paper I have used in the past. I do not like the fact that the dry ink can be wiped off. I prefer the name brand yupo paper for my purposes.

Nope! Not even close
Nope! If you’re familiar with how alcohol ink acts on real Yupo paper, you will not like this. I had high hopes but now I’m nit happy because that was a waste of money. I used three sheets with three different brands of alcohol ink and got the same result every time. This paper does not allow the flow of ink, the ink acts totally different, it takes forever to dry and when it does it looks weird, you don’t get the same soft smooth blend as real Yupo. I am going to try to return this.

NOT Yupo
This stuff feels like Yupo, looks like Yupo, costs less. However, ink behaves quite differently with this paper. Also, as others have noted, paper stains and scars/scratches...? I was able to wipe off the white coloring of the paper too (using 99% alcohol) revealing iridescent looking spots (weird, huh?). Reacts well to heat though - better than medium weight Yupo. I had zero warping/buckling using medium heat setting. (My still all-time favorite is Grafix Craft Plastic Opaque paper for alcohol ink. Better than Yupo - no staining at all; can clean 100% with alcohol and re-use with every color I've tested, and much cheaper.) Guess I can use this stuff for testing colors or maybe other art uses...

doesn't work with alcohol inks
I was invited to give the 1st review on this product. It is a terrible product for alcohol inks, which I purchased it for. The ink doesn't flow on it no matter how much alcohol or solution is used. After trying to wipe the ink off and start over, the surface was scratched and would no longer accept any ink. I used 1 sheet and will return the rest, it is worthless to me. What seemed to be a good deal for yupo paper was a total waste. I hate giving bad reviews but this product didn't work for me.

Will buy again... love it
Love this product for alcohol inks. I bought several kinds and this one is nice and heavy. It doesn't stain easily like some of the other yupo paper products. It stands up to the heat better than the other products I have tried. I will definitely purchase again.
