Glad I returned this. Fine for inside projects, but will quickly deteriorate when exposed to the elements. Its not all that people are cracking it up to be.

But you have to research and prep first. Works excellent, make sure surfaces are super clean ( see 3M for more info on prep). Be sure it is exactly where you want it because once it's be down, it's down. You can use fishing line and gloves to pull it up but it leaves a mess to deal with. Do your research because 3M make many VHB tapes for different applications, and yes it makes a huge difference.

Used to hold down solar panels..Excellent!

These strips are the great. Stronger than anything I've been able to find at Lowes or Home Depot. I used them to mount my lower wind deflectors on my victory motorcycle and they hold up to the challenge rain, sleet, hail or shine!

This tape was horrible. I couldn't get to stick to any thing.. And I tried several materials

I originally ordered this with solar panel brackets to mount on my van after watching the YouTube video users of this product and their recommendations. But the very day I wanted to mount the panel, I just couldn't do it. I choose to bolt the panel and it actually came out great for just about the same price. I Just couldn't feeling safe knowing the only thing holding down my panel while driving was a small piece of tape, lol, no matter if it's used on the space shuttle or not...
