Q: I want to get a sponge toothbrush for cleaning my cat's teeth. Does the tip easily come off when the cat is resisting? Any choking hazard?

I wasn't able to use them for my cats since they resisted but I do use them for my dogs and I have not had any fall apart yet.The stick goes into the sponge part.My dog is not perfect for the procedure but not real resisting so they are fine for her.My suggestion would be for a cat to use a small soft baby toothbrush this way you know it will not fall apart should your cat resist.

You absolutely can! I bought these for brushing my dogs and cats teeth. The definitely prefer them over the store bought animal toothbrushes and these also hold both the gel pastes as well as the liquids well. They hold up well and can be used quite a few times before being discarded.
