It is incredibly helpful and worth the purchase. My cats won't let me use a brush as it makes them uncomfortable. As long as you introduce it to them and pet them gently as you brush it works like a glove (horrible pun). It will really help my allergies.

Not so great for rabbits. I was hoping to get my Florida White bunny's shedding under control with this glove but it seems that her coat is too fine and possibly too short to really stick in the glove. I can't pull what little hair is picked up by the glove let alone do it in one piece. :-/

The glove was kind of a waste of money. It doesn't work on cats.

We have used various brushes and other deshedding tools for years on both our dogs and cats. Each pet prefers one or two tools, but different from others. And, of course, my long haired lab mix HATES everything leaving us to deal with dust yetis and matting. All five pets liked to loved this glove! It did a great job at grabbing both undercoat and top coat hair (often tools catch predominantly one type). The hair comes off the silicone pad easily for disposal.A few things lead to me just giving a 4 star rating. The glove did fall a bit short on catching the hair off our cat with a single layer coat - it did great loosening hair but the hair often stayed on the cat. Additionally removing the hair from the glove fabric and Velcro closure is a bit trying. The closure can (and will) pop open during use once hair accumulates on the Velcro which can happen quickly when dealing with multiple pets and a variety of coat types.

This works great on one cat, but she craves attention nonstop, so it's not a big surprise. My male is primarily the one I got it for and he hates being pet with it. I don't think it's a bad product, I just think it's not the right product for some cats. Think about your animal's personality before you get this.

We bought this for one of our cats, who sheds like crazy. After being petted, there were actual tumbleweeds of fur flying around, and we had to vacuum constantly. This glove fits both me and my boyfriend well, and is very easy on and off. Tigger loves, love, loves being groomed with this. As soon as one of us put it on, he runs to his spot and lays down to get ready. It is a bit firm pressure, but he loves it that way, he has to dig his claws in to keep from moving, but he can't get enough of it. We have another, smaller cat who in general isn't a fan of hard scratching/rubbing, and she doesn't want anything to do with this, but if your cat likes a massage or a back scratching, he will love this glove. Best of all, ALL the hair sticks to it, we just peel it off and throw it out. It comes off in one big sheet of fur.

Meh. I thought it would feel better to her than just the standard pet brush I have, and that it'd catch the hair better.She doesn't like this any better, and it's worse at catching the hair than my current brush (pictured for reference).
