I cut myself really bad on my face and didn't want the "ladder and dots" look from getting stitches so I ordered this wound closure kit to be delivered by end of day the same day. Order stated I should be receiving package by 10pm, I was really surprised when I received the package before 5pm!The instructions were very easy to read and the added photos to reference throughout the process were a great addition. I needed to have the two wound closure thingys to be closer together so i cut down the middle. Removed the backing, placed both of the wound closure thingys on my face and gently pulled until my wound closed as instructed. Once my wound was closed I tried to rotate the strip as it mentions in the instructions but I felt the sticky part begin to lift so I just clipped them off with nail clipper.I keep forgetting I even have this wound closure kit on my face, it is very comfortable! I highly recommend this product.

Todos alguna vez hemos tenido que atender de emergencia un corte en la piel causado por un cristal roto, un cuchillo usado sin cuidado, alguna lata afilada de conservas, y algunas de estas heridas no se pueden cerrar con los apósitos, banditas o curitas convencionales, incluso aunque necesiten de una intervención médica urgente, sirven para cerrar la herida mientras llegan los profesionales de la salud, así que sigan mi consejo: Es mejor tenerlas y no necesitarlas, que necesitarlas y no tenerlas.

Small and easy to use. Great for camping, hiking or just living in a rural area where medical attention might be far away. Great addition to our medical emergency kit.

So in general I bought the larger and broke it up as it was cheaper than ordering individual pieces. Literally have had zipties for wound healing before but not as big as the ones the Dr. Has used on me.

I used these zipper baggages to close a surgical wound, because I was sent home from the hospital with a hole in my stomach (that was magically supposed to close up by itself). But having a DIY can-do-anything attitude, I took care of it. So good news is - these bandages worked for me really well and my abdominal incision (about 3 inches) closed up. The adhesive is quite powerful. The surgeon knew I used these and was astonished I healed so quickly (no thanks to them.) No stitches were needed. So why the 3 stars? I developed blisters almost immediately. They were directly under the plastic sheets of these bandages, not near the incision. The Amazon description and the box claim these are Latex-free, but I'm allergic to latex and this is similar to what happens when I'm exposed to latex. Or it could have been another contamination. I don't know. So in short, they work but they caused my skin to blister and were itchy.

As a registered nurse I had hope when I first applied this product as I thought that it had great potential, that is until the adhesive gave way and it popped right off. No way to give it a second try. Just toss it in the trash and that was that. Not even a returnable product to Amazon which was a surprise to me. Not that I would expect to send a bloody/biohazard device back, but certainly there must be some sort of recourse?
