MKOEM 3D Printer Filament, Silky Shiny PLA Filament 1.75mm for 3D Printer and 3D Pen, 1kg 1 Spool, Silk Silver

I needed some more silver and so ordered some esun and some of the mkoem silk silver to try out. Out the box I was very impressed with the quality of the wind. It’s perfect.Print wise I had to up it to 225/55 on hotend/bed on my Prusa Mk3 but the prints are great. As that’s within the printed specs on the filament it’s not surprising. The silver is very metallic looking. I went through half a roll in short order so immediately ordered 2 more as I really like it for metallic looking parts.

Good product, doing what should.

I was VERY excited to try this filament, and eagerly ripped open the parcel, to find the bag the filament was in wasn't vacuum sealed. Realised there was a hole in the bag, but thought I would risk it as it was packaged with silica gel. The filament initially wouldn't stick, and kept lifting even when I changed my temperatures. Realised the filament was likely damp, so popped it in a box with a dehumidifyer and tried again a few days later.Filament has definitely redeemed itself. Reasonably fast colour changes, and a smooth finish. I used 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height for one dragon and came out beautifully. 0.6 nozzle and 0.4 layer height still had reasonable results. Did have some more issues after being on my reel for a few days with adhesion and fragile prints so seems to absorb moisture more quickly than others, but otherwise I'm happy with this product

I read all the reviews before purchasing but the majority gave good reviews. Here is my print of an amplifier case using the silk silver. Absolutely superb finish. I suggest users get their machines dialled in and properly calibrated and do some test benchies before criticizing this filament. Just look at these results... printer was a BQTT BIQU x using 220 deg hot end and 65 deg bed. Layer height was 0.12 and print speed at 50mm/sec.It is sensitive to Z offset so get this set right and you won't be disappointed.

When it arrived it was well sealed in vacuum packed plastic with descendant sachet, The wind was a little off ands some light kinks in the film but nothing to complain about.I just put it on my Anet A8 changed the temp settings to 220 and it has been performing very well no clogs. It has a velvety texture to it and so far I am very pleased with it. I decided to give it a challenge and choose a faceted bowl which is very thin designed for transparent film and it is quite flexible as seen in photo also my maker coin. Sadly my budget is low otherwise I would like to try a rainbow silk from this company overall very pleased and would recommend it

I think the most important things about this product is not to expect it to look like real gold. As there's no metal in the filament it would be unrealistic to expect that, although it does have a nice gold-ish lustre when printed. But after rubbing down that effect mostly disappears and doesn't come back without some polishing. So I'd probably describe the finish as mostly the look you see in cheap gold-coloured toys, which is a nice addition to the other colours of PLA available.The filament turned out to be as easy to use as any other PLA, and so is mostly just as environmentally friendly. However, it needs to be printed at a higher temperature: I used 220C and it adheres to the print bed well, plus prints with better detail than many of the other PLA's I've used. In fact, with the same settings I use for other PLA (except temperature) there's almost no stringiness due to retraction, just a few very fine ones that are easily cleaned off.I also found it interesting that I get a nicer surface finish than other filaments, especially on flat parts of prints. It almost looks like it's been surface ironed by the printer, which it hasn't, and bonds to itself very well. In fact I was also impressed by the strength which I expected to be affected negatively by whatever is added to give the gold look. Plus you can see in my photo that it prints well into small details (the print is 80mm wide) making it easy to post-process to get a nice looking print.So overall I'm actually very impressed by this product at this price. Some gold PLA filaments are much more expensive and if this cost the same I might expect a bit more from it. But this was more of a budget price and the results are nothing like budget. I'd definitely recommend it as a very nice addition to filament stockpiles anywhere :-)

Lovely fast rainbow colors but can create some awful lines i.e. not consistent and rough in some areas.

Nice bundle at a good price. The quality is not bad for the price and the colour choice is good with a few transparent coils included which open up more design possibilities.If like me you are starting out with 3d pens, you cant go wrong with this pack.One small issue, vac packed in one bundle and no silca gel included in case of moisture, perhaps something to tweak for the future

DAs MKOEM Seide PLA Filament 1,75mm Hellgold ist wirklich sehr gut zu verarbeiten und überzeugt durch qualitativ hochwertige Ausdrucke. Ich habe es an einer vollbeweglichen und in einem Stück druckbarer Skulptur eine chinesischen Drachen ausprobiert. Das Ergebnis war voll überzeugend.Der Drache konnte alleine mit Skirt-Druckbetthaftung und ohne Support auf meinem 3D Drucker ausgegeben werden. Die Hafung während des Druckes war perfekt. Nach Fertigstellung und Abkühlung der Druckplatte konnte der Drache einfach von der Druckfläche ohne Widerstand abgenommen werden. Die Drachenskulptur war sofort voll beweglich und zeigte auch an keinem einzigen Gelenk eine Verklemmung. Der Druck gelang ohne Stringing oder Warping, die Oberfläche hatte keine Aussetzer. Das Material selber zeigt auf der Oberfläche einen wunderschönen seidigen hellgoldenen Glanz.Das Filament erhält von mir daher nach diesem überzeugenden Druck eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung! Ich werde es mir auf jeden Fall nochmals bestellen.Zur weiteren Info: Druckauflösung 0,2 mm, Füllung 20%, Druckgeschwindigkeit 60mm/s, Extruder-Temperatur 200˚ Celsius Druckbetttemperatur 60˚Celsius, Slicing über Cura 4.13.1, Ausgabe über Repetier Server auf Artillery Sidewinder X1 v4, Druckzeit ca. 17,5 Stunden

J'ai acheté ce lot de filament pour imprimer quelques petites pièces sans devoir acheter des kilos de PLA de toutes les couleurs, et ce lot est vraiment l'idéal !Pas de problèmes d'impression, je suis très agréablement surpris :)

Colori bellissimi e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Devo ammettere che ho cercato dei filamenti ad un buon prezzo per tempo, ho scelto questi per la varietà dei colori e per il prezzo contenuto (€ 14,99) e sono molto soddisfatta. Li ricompreró sicuramente.
