These new net abrasives are game changers. They cut well, have excellent edge retention, and cut evenly. The finish is perfect.I like having them in a roll as well, as they are nice and easy to manage.

The media could not be loaded.  I've been building and woodworking for several years and I always dreaded the sanding part of wood finishing. These discs remove material faster, remove more dust, and last longer than any other that I have tried including Diablo, Powertec, and Dura Gold.I just sanded an entire small kitchen set of cabinets and a wood countertop with a previously used disc and it's still working better than a new disc from other brands. The countertop needed extra sanding to remove divots and deeps sanding grooves from my drum sander.I'm throwing out all my old ones and using my new discs exclusively for wood.Don't balk at the price when you consider the time, effort and wear&tear on your body.

Yes, it is pricey but it does not wear out as fast as traditional sandpaper.It does not seem to clog up.It seems to remove material quickly without the marks of a course sandpaper.The only negative thing I have to say about it is the price and that’s typical 3M products but they make some good stuff.

Really effective. Got rid of striping left by a previous routing step. Better than alternatives including Festool

Love this product, lasts longer than standard paper, cuts uniformly, cuts fast and predictably.

These pads work well for all manner of sanding. The cutouts in the pads help to eliminate buildup if you are sanding something painted or otherwise coated. I use these on 3d-printed parts and sometimes the plastic gets a bit melty and builds up on normal sandpaper. They are easy to use by hand for quick touch-ups but work best with the vacuum blocks. Definitely will buy again.

Tested one of the circular discs on a 40 year old hard maple hand clamp that's seen a lot of work. Using a small random orbital sander (couldn't find my DeWalt) I took about three minutes to remove the majority of the staining on the hand clamp. Virtually no dust other than some that fell directly to the floor, none in the air I was breathing. With just a coat of tung oil, the clamp will look like new. I'm a bit hesitant on the price but will consider if I start on a significant furniture building venture.

Although these are not designed for woodworking, I used them on one of my projects. The range of grits in this package get you from rough material-removing (80) to finishing (180) to extra extra fine finishing (320). I was making a wooden baby toy that needed to be super smooth and the 320 grit was just the thing. I also like that this package has strips in addition to the disks for when you need to hand sand parts.I have switched over to almost exclusively using net sanding disks because they last so much longer and the dust gets pulled through the net into the sander's dust collector.
