D-Aspartic Acid (DAA) is an amino acid used in the biosynthesis of protein. Because DAA is commonly found in mammals, it is considered a nonessential amino acid. However, many men supplement DAA due to its positive effects on athletic performance. D-Aspartic Acid has been linked to the process of producing Luteinizing Hormone (LH), which plays a role in synthesis of testosterone. D-Aspartic Acid may also help boost energy and support the brain.* This is the powder form.

DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY-USE AS DIRECTED!!!
First and foremost:YES this product works-I’ve never been biggerYES you must take it with food – violent diarrhea if you don’t=however=It is absolutely imperative that you “cycle off” this product, and you may want to get a aromatase inhibitor when you do. Here’s my story:I foolishly used this product continuously, for 120 days, I did not read the directions that instructed you to only use it for 60 days at a time with a 30 day rest period.Towards the end of month 4 on D-aspartic acid, I found myself with symptoms of depression that were crippling. I missed work, had no motivation, stopped going to the gym and nearly ruined my relationship. I ended up in the care of a physician, was placed on anti-depressants (that made things worse and created terrible anxiety) I have never experienced depression, or anxiety at any point in my life before, I am 30 years old. After extensive research on my own, I discovered that this product, and most products that affect testosterone, have the potential to Spike your estrogen levels, as excess testosterone in the male body is converted into estrogen in some cases. In hindsight, I believe strongly that this is what happened to me.Three months after stopping DAA, my symptoms of depression have significantly improved, however it was still a day to day battle. At this three-month mark, I decided to take an aromatase inhibitor manufactured by a competitor. I’ve now been on the aromatase inhibitor product for three weeks and I am almost completely back to normal, further convincing me that my emotional issues were caused by improper use of DAA. Educate yourself and be careful! The good thing is, I looked good at the end of my DAA use.

IMPORTANT - Who this will and won't work for.
DAA is a supplement that will boost your Luteinizing Hormone, or LH, if it is low. This is all that it does! LH is produced by the anterior portion of your Pituitary gland, and LH in your bloodstream is the trigger for your testes to produce Testosterone.Of you are someone with LOW TESTOSTERONE counts AND LOW LH numbers, DAA may help you show some improvements. It will boost your low LH numbers some, which, if your testes are still healthy, will increase your Testosterone numbers. However, if your test count is low and your LH number is somewhat normal, this will NOT help you. There are other mechanisms in your body to keep LH at a healthy level, and if your already there, DAA won't make it increase. Also, needless to say, if you test count is low but your LH is high (classic hypogondism), this will do nothing for you.In addition, if your test and LH counts are healthy, this product will either do nothing OR trigger a test conversion to estrogen, causing side effects like gynecomastia and others. So to sum up - if for some reason you have low LH and subsequently low testosterone counts, this may help get your numbers up into the healthy range!! It did for me.How to take it?? DDA is an acid, like citric acid, and is extremely sour. Also, it's a suspension in water - it doesn't dissolve, just floats. Another side effect some experience is diarrhea also. Here's a GREAT solution!Take you dosage of DDA and put it into a glass with an equal amount of smooth formula orange flavored Metamucil or generic equivalent. Mix with 6-8 ounces of water, stir and drink while the liquid is still spinning. The flavor will be like a tart orange drink - like mixing orange juice with a splash of grapefruit - not bad! Also, the Metamucil has two other functions - because it is a cellulose that absorbs the water, it helps the DDA remain suspended equally in the mixture. But most impkrtsnly, it is a bulk creator in your intestines, as well as a substance that soothes iritation. The effect will eliminate DDA induced diarea, and give you your daily fibre at the same time.Hope this helps.

Works great, but BEWARE
So a few things for this product.1. It works just as the research says it does. It boosts testosterone and in the short days I’ve had it, I’ve seen my energy go up, gains at the gym have skyrocketed , and my facial hair is actually growing a lot quicker.2. Do a lot of research before starting this. It could have adverse affects to your testosterone if you don’t actually have low T.3. It tastes terrible. Mix it with a juice.4. Last but NOT least. This product has the chance of giving you the worst diarrhea you have ever experienced. I have roughly 2 hours after I’ve taken it before I am blowing up the toilet. I mean rocket propelled , liquid poop. It lasts for days after I take it. Doesn’t cause my stomach to hurt or anything. Simply causes my stool to be looser than I’ve ever thought possible. Take at your own risk. I started out taking it every day and now I take it twice a week because 1 dose lasts 2-3 days . I’m on the toilet as I type this.

Helped Raise T-levels
About 6 months ago I was diagnosed with clinically low testosterone. My LH and FSH were also low, so the doctor recommended trying to reset my T-levels by adding D-aspartic acid to a program of diet and exercise. I initially bought capsules, but they were expensive and I needed at least 5 for a minimum dose. Bulk Supplements D-aspartic acid was significantly cheaper, and I mixed it with a soy protein shake to cut the tartness. After 1 month, T levels began to rise and now they are in the normal range. Since L-aspartic acid is very common in proteins, the D-aspartic acid form is a real kick start to LH formation. I recommend Bulk Supplements D-aspartic acid highly because it is a good bargain for the price, pure and very easy to titrate your own best dose. Since I observed it is not quickly soluble in water, I recommend adding it to a protein shake with your other favorite ingredients.Phil
