Holds the deer skull ok after I drilled a second hole in the bottom to keep it from spinning as the antlers make it top heavy. Would not recommend for walls that take a lot of vibration.

was worried when i read the negative review. ordered it anyway. GLAD i did. everything to attach it was included, mounted easily, and i tried several different skulls on it. look good with all of them. probably need to order more after seeing the way it holds almost any skull. well worth the price on this one!

This product works however you can go to Home Depot or any supply store and buy the Rings to screw into the back of the skull that works just as well and is a lot cheaper

I also think this mount holds the skull at an awkward angle. It sticks out vs laying down flat against my plaque. I may try to bend it and see if that works better. Good quality if this is the angle you're looking for.

I have used several varieties of hangers for European mounts, all for whitetail deer, this one without question is not only the best functionally, but it is by far the least expensive! And it works great!
