Fantastic
Lucky was one talented woman. I love that she bought Panther studios to help her husband Lennie. I loved that Lucky went undercover for six weeks as a condition of Abe Panther to buy the studio this way she found out what was going on and Abe was able to get back at his grand children who didn't really care about him they just wanted his money. Jackie Collins is brillant. I tried to get this book and could never get it. It was definitely worth the wait.

Raunchy and wonderful!
Jackie Collins does it again. Fast paced and crammed with interesting characters. You won't want to put this one down. After reading this book about Hollywood stars and sundry other interesting people, I am so glad to be living an ordinary life as a housewife. If you like this author you will love this one.

Lucky is back!!!
This is my first time reading all the Lucky Santangelo books and I'm LOVING it!!! This time Lucky tries to buy a major film studio to help her husband get ahead. Naturally almost everything goes wrong. Yeah it's long (629 pages) but never dull and full of twists and turns with complex characters and situations. At one point it seemed like it was two books combined into one. At the halfway mark everything seemed to be wrapped up and OK until other complications set in. My only real complaint is it has a HUGE cast of characters to keep track of and sometimes gets confusing. Hower Collins was a good enough writer to explain who they were in an easy way. A really fun engrossing book! :)

Great read that keeps you guessing
This is a really great light read for someone just wanting to be taken away for a while into another world altogether. I enjoyed the strong female characters. However, this Hollywood world is one I would never want to be a part of. It it is interesting to read about, especially all the weird characters, and the author is incomparable in describing each one. Pure entertainment.

Totally Absorbing!!!
Kept my interest from the first page...I felt I was getting the inside info on Hollywood, movies, stars, producers, etc. and somehow it all rang true to me even though I have never been a part of that life...but soon I was! Lucky has a strong personality and a strong intuitive sense and she made her dreams come true...to make movies that don't exploit women...I am for that! I strongly recommend the book..it will be hard to put down once you start reading.

Read Jackie Collins' book Chances before reading Lady Boss
I liked the book but I wish I would have known to read her book called Chances first since Chances was the beginning of the Santangelo story, Lady Boss would have been a little more exciting with the Chances background information. Chances was excellent I would give it a 5 star rating.

I AM A AN OF JACKIE COLLINS
I love the Santangelo series. I love Lucky's guts and the way she operates. She is one foxy lady. Jackie succeeds in bringing all the characters to life. I can see each one of them in my minds eye. Jackie, you are one of the best authors and I love all your books.I cannot wait to read all the rest of the books in the Santangelo series.(In Chances I was in love with Gino - what a character!)Kind regardsMargaret
