recently dug out my h4n (not pro - the original h4n) and after a couple hours of recording depleted the batteries, I remembered why I stopped using it much. Well I loooked around for a charger and after seeing prices (more than 20$ at the cheapest) I said to myself, self we have an awful lot of 5v usb chargers, why not see if there is a cable available, instead of buying yet another adapter. Lo and behold I stumbled on this cable and took a chance since I saw it worked on the H4Npro, i figured it would work on the great grandaddy H4N. and it did quite well.its not a terribley long cable, but dc voltage will drop over a long cable so this doesn't really need to be a long cable. Works well with H4n, and old blackberry charge cube and the whole shebang fits in a nice metal mini lunch box, along with assorted sd cards, remote, batteries.great cable at a great price and you get a pair of them.I'm quite satisified with this cable..

I have a Tascam DP-006 portable multitrack recorder that I use a lot less than I’d like because its portability is limited by its power needs. In theory, you can run it off AA batteries - in practice, the unit has a habit of devouring these and losing power at inopportune moments. Being able to run it off a rechargeable power bank seemed like a good solution, but all of my 5v USB cords either were the wrong polarity or adapter-barrel size. Frustratingly, Tascam is coy about the necessary barrel dimensions in the DP-006 manual, and on the product page for the Tascam-branded charger/power source that they sold for the recorder.After a bit of trial and error (and abuse of Amazon Prime’s returns policy…), I determined this is the correct cable. It provides a steady current, doesn’t create line noise, is a useful length, fits the power input socket on the unit snugly, and seems durable and up to the wear-and-tear demand of being part of a portable set-up. I don’t have any other Tascam equipment to test it on, but I *suspect* it will work with anything that uses the Tascam PS-520 power source.

Seem like quality cables, no issues so far.

It worked good on my projector

As most everyone who owns an H4n know, the 4 AA batteries don't last long. Having access to a powerbank makes this a non-issue. These cables are very handy on any shoot longer than an hour or so. Good value for money and another way to make the H4n's usefulness live on.

Nothing much to write home about other than the fact that it works well with the Zoom H4N recorder. My use case for this is for recording live events where I do not have access to a wall charger and pairing this cable with a simple USB battery pack allows the H4N to record for longer times beyond the 2x AA batteries are capable of. It is a very nice addition to my gig bag.

Very good quality cables. I wasn't even aware of this USB combination until I inquired about coupling a power bank to my pico projector in order to extend the battery life when using it on its own power. This works beautifully to charge the projector and/or powering it while in use.

Did finish contact, and was not charging as expected. As a last ditch move I decided to tear away the rubber portion of the unit with nail clippers (starting from the top). After some tearing the connection is stable and my device is able to charge. Wish I did not have to that get the results though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got it for my Zoom H4n. Allow me to run the Zoom off a regular usb powerbank.

I used this cable to power my Xiaomi Mi Box, with the other end of the cable plugged into the USB port on the TV. Works perfectly.

Not working with the Lenovo laptop (Flex - 6 11) even the size is ok
