The backrest is optional; wthout it, the bedframe offers a classic foot and headboard profile. The Raw option is sanded to a smooth finish so that you can select your own finish or enjoy the wood in its pure state. The exposed wood parts of the colored divans are finished with an oil-wax finish that carries an SCS Indoor Advantage Gold Certification. The colored parts use a water-based GreenGuard certified finish. All the lumber used is sustainably harvested. You'll want one in your size
We have the Caravan Crib and love it and so decided to get the matching Divan for our older daughter's bed. It took a few weeks to arrive (but that was expected) and was easy to assemble. Our first thoughts once we'd gotten it together was that it was TOO nice for our daughter's room. We wanted it in our size! We absolutely love the Divan so much. It is incredibly minimal and beautifully designed and the touch of color add so much life to my daughter's corner of the room. We let her choose the color (because they were all great and we knew we could live with any choice) and she chose the blue. The colors on the screen match the actual color really well. It was a big splurge for us but what convinced us to do it was we'll get a lot of use out of this piece even after our daughter outgrows it to sleep in. It is the perfect kids couch or reading nook. I hope they make an adult one though because we'd definitely get one!
