Great stones. As a beginning freehand sharpener these are very forgiving. Box is a little cheap. Don't get it wet, or leave it wet, or it will pop at the corners and warp.

Great for my woodworking planes and chisels! With the Black Arkansas stone, I think my strop makes my chisels duller!!!! The Black leaves a mirror finish, and the Soft Arkansas is great for turning a burr FAST!
