Summit Hydraulics Aftermarket Replacement for JD AL166181 Female Quick Coupler

Son liked the fact that these Summits had a full 32mm hex for tightening and loosening vs. very small flats on the OEM connectors that want to roll a wrench off the flats before breaking them loose there by ruining the flats. The original ones lasted 9 years and would no longer lock onto the Pioneer style fittings without numerous tries. So we replaced the two lower ones that were giving trouble with Summits just try the Summit brand over OEM at twice the price. They have already been connected numerous times without issue. We figure the old ones either have a weak or broke internal spring. They''re push pull type so there nothing to pull back while pushing the connector in or pulling out. If they fail prematurely I'll update the review but so far so good. The dust caps also fit the Summits just fine. The last photo is the two my son removed. These were installed on a JD 5065M. BTW you'll probably have to remove the top two to get to the lower two.

Used as a replacement for a MF 271. Coupling was a direct replacement for what I had. We will see how it holds up over time but is doing good so far.
