Reasonably priced easy install anti-freeze thermistor.
Ok replaced the old heavy paper weight style Dometic thermostat with this sleek unit.Very easy to install to the face of the evaporator. The plug is identical to the original dometic sensor and plugged in without issue. This fixed the frezzing up evaporator in the humid Florida weather.

Works great for Domitic Penguin-2
I replaced the freeze sensor on my 13.5k non heat pump penguin-2. The unit would run, stop, or short cycle. It was wasy to replace. Remove the outer, inner, and electrical box covers and plug in. This solved my short cycle / freeze problems.

I have a 2013 Lacrosse trailer with a Dometic 13.5 rooftop A/C unit. I replaced the thermostat with a new Micro Air last year which has Wi-Fi. Much superior to my old Dometic.I never realized that my A/C would try to start and a a few seconds it would shut downLo and behold my Micro Air thermostat has a self diagnostic feature that alerted me to a faulty freeze sensor. So I bought this and found out it was a fairly easy repair I could do myselfSure enough I replace it and my A/C works greatI am sure I saved myself at least a couple of hundred dollars doing it myself
