It's terrific for healing cuts and scrapes, blemishes, and is also noted as having other uses within wellness.This face wash from Melora combines Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil and sources the product from the East Coast of New Zealand. It has anti-microbial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. It's a double-action face wash that revitalizes and refreshes.The tube arrived nicely packed and was easy to unwrap. It's a five-ounce tube. The face wash has a texture somewhat similar to traditional honey - it dispenses out of the tube slowly and this helps ensure that none is wasted. It's lighter in color than most processed honey, however, it has a similar texture a close enough appearance that you know you're getting something unique.It smooths on quite easily and isn't sticky. There's a slight scent to it that definitely lingers. I've been surprised with how well the impact of the face wash stays with me. I wouldn't describe the lather as a rich one - it's a modest lather that feels like it really immerses in the skin. I really, really like it.It more balances my face than makes it shimmer. It feels very natural but also very healthy. It is designed to delay the signs of aging, reduce acne scars, and boost collagen. It's free of parabens, SLGs, PEGs, dyes, and petrochemicals.I'm fairly picky when it comes to face washes and I tend to have more sensitive skin. This face wash is a nice balance - it doesn't overwhelm my skin and leave it feeling falsely shiny. However, I definitely can feel it working and definitely am seeing positive results.I'm definitely a fan and definitely see this Melora Face Wash becoming a part of my regular face and skin care routine.

Bought this as I checked the ingredients on my other moisturiser and it wasn't great and this was recommended. After using it once, the smell was too much, smelt like stale smell and couldn't stand it so ended up throwing it away. Maybe I could have added some natural oil or something

I received this item through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review.I've found products with manuka honey leave my skin feeling soft and this was no exception. The scrub works well and left my skin feeling clean and soft after washing. However, there's a weird smell to it that's almost like fermented honey or mead. It's not a chemical-y smell which is good but it's also not a pleasant smell to me so I don't really enjoy having the scrub on my face.It gets the job done, but is unfortunately not a great fit for me.
