If the springs break in your garage, you can have a big mess and it can cause harm to people and items. This prevents the spring from doing damage if it breaks. I will use them on garage door springs now that I am aware of them. Good quality and easy to install.

It works, but no bolts to secure it
I was bummed to find out that this does not include any bolts to secure this wire to the garage railing. Other than that the wire is good quality and is cheaper than I have found elsewhere. This is very easy to install yourself too. This cable did run a bit too long for my garage though and you can’t really adjust the size so that may be a deal breaker.
