The Finger of God

News and information is a source of controversy today. We tend to blindly accept information from corporate sources. Where do we get our information from and who are our trusted sources and Is he/she quality and is he/she qualified. I picked up The Finger of God instantly scrutinizing the cover to the typeset. I was summarily taken with the accompanying, professional reviews from Dr. Cornel West, Professor Eddie Glaude, etc.. I can share that Jesse Jackson Jr. gets his information from the constitution, from history, from the founding fathers and from painstakingly researched, attributed facts. The central theme and heart of the book is what Jesse has received from God. This will be challenging for some and will draw attention but, incredibly, doesn't overshadow the work. Jesse's sources are overwhelmingly trusted by Americans and verified historically. Jesse challenges us with an inspired, supported prognosis for America that can only improve livesAs for quality and qualified. Jesse presents an informed, startling, arresting insight into the soul of our country. His critique is intertwined with his ferocious belief in America and inseparable from his core faith. Congressman Jackson's work is a matter of public record. His work in civil and human rights is literally life long. And as a friend recently shared with me, "Jesse Jackson Jr. has walked through every facet and almost every type of institution America has, public, military and private school, graduate, law school and seminary, the church, Congress and prison. And met everyone along the way domestically and internationally." He's qualified. And as Jesse said during his legal woes, "I still believe in the power of forgiveness. I believe in the power of redemption..... And I still believe in the resurrection.

Out of his laboratory flows rivers of living water. Jesse Jackson, Jr., has offered us a scholarly gift. The Finger of God is a refreshment to the minds that will receive it, and quenches the thirst of those who seek redemption.

As an Ex-Offender who had been convicted 33yrs ago, and is and have been since that time; a law abiding, responsible, productive and contributing member of society. I was captivated and educated by this excellent book on the the finger of God. Jesse Jackson Jr. has gifted us( Ex-Offenders) and the world with the profound insight on the Founding Fathers divine guidance in framing the constitution of the United States of America. It is clear and comprehensive in his book that he was definitely visited by God at his point of personal brokenness with this fresh revelation of what God did in ordering the steps of the framers as they construct that great national document that has been infused with principles of Christianity. I once read a story about a man who visited the continental congress, he wanted to know which one was George Washington. The man next to him said, “George Washington will be the tall man who gets on his knees when the Congress prayers.” That’s the kind of birth our nation had. It was Daniel Webster who said, “ Let is not forget the religious character of our origin. So it is in The Finger of God that Jessie Jackson Jr. reminds us to recall and reconsider how the Finger of God is traceable throughput the Constitution and documents of this nation. Jesse wants us to know that the Founding Fathers never wanted us to forget separate of God from government. As a victim of the BSG brotherhood, I have great hope as Jesse Jackson Jr. had profoundly articulate through his own personal testimony, trial and triumphs that God will soon decree a Avatar who will see God’s finger in our constitution and will be given the divine moral courage to take decisive action to assure those 68 felonies a reprieve from the BSG so that we can be liberated from the “Ex” and become free to be the redeem, restored and responsible citizens of God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. It is my prayer and hope that every ex offender will read this awesome book and as well as everyone who is fighting ex offenders restorative human rights. My question is when does our debt ends and our rights begin. I believe Jesse Jackson Jr. has given us the blue print to that resolve. Thank you my brother for sharing your grace and gifts with us. We highly commend you for your service to the brotherhood of BSG.

The Finger of God - Jesse Jackson Jr.Mr. Jackson gives us insight on the founders from his, well researched, worldview. He explains in a practical and thoughtful way, the perfect intent of America as an idea, as he takes a realistic look at the points of view of some of the founders.He (Mr. Jackson) also gives us insight on his life's experiences as a theologian, lawyer, historian, and a politician. He thoughtfully touches on his personal experiences in a transparent way.Finally, for me, he touched on the importance of the country's perfect intent of reflecting the heart of God through the legacy of David and Jesus. It can only be done through kingdom principles (the way I received it).Paul Dozier 1/9/2022

I was very eager to get my hands on this book and was glad my daughter bought it for me. At first, I was not sure of the intention of the book. Since reading it in its entirety, I have reached two conclusions: first, it is a serious, scholarly piece of work that is incredibly worthy of becoming required reading at the college/grad school level; and two, the amount of thorough and extensive research that was accomplished is beyond remarkable. Excellent job, young man.

This is great read! Jesse Jackson Jr. breaks down the TRUTH of religion and politic in America. He doesn't just give his opinion but he gives proof and references of his study. I believe this should be a text book for many Professors to share with their student!!! 🙌🏾
