Makes good coffee in 3 minutes!
We have owned Bunn coffee makers in the past. They last about 3 or 4 years as long as you use them every day or you completely turn them off (as in unplug or turn off the switch on the side) if you will not be using them daily. After all the hype about French coffee presses, I bought one. Bunn makes better coffee. For some time we used an air pot coffee maker as we were making a lot of coffee here. We gave our bun away to our daughter. Now the coffee production has decreased and we no longer need to make it by the half gallon, so we put the big thing up and ordered a new bun. This one works very well. We have not had grounds in the coffee. (See reviews for other bunn thermal coffee makers) Since we make at least one pot every day this thing is great. It makes a pot in about 3 minutes. Note ALLl coffee maker manufactures lie about how many cups they make. This will make six 8 oz cups. We drink 12 oz cups so it makes for of them.

Great! Just as I EXPECTED!

Not efficient
We have had this coffe maker for three years now and I’m ready to order a different style of maker. I think its a great idea if you are making coffe for lots of people but I am not. This coffe maker is used once a day for my wife and I, not 5+ people. I hate that you cant program it to start,it pours horribly and the basket overflows fairly often and causes grounds to be in the coffee. About once a month the basket completely overflows and i have coffee all over my counter to clean up from under all of our appliances.the heating element runs quite often to keep the water hot for the next pot you brew but when your only making one pot a day it seems like a waste of power especialaly with how poorly its insulated.The design is a great idea for a certain purpose but it still has to many flaws to recommend it.
